Here is a quick equation I set up to calculate the hours it will take you to level up one time. (note: This is not perfectly accurate but it is very close)

Equation: (x - y)/(z)/(1.8)/(60)

Where x is the total amount of exp needed to level
Where y is the exp you have right now
Where z is your estimate of the average exp you are gaining per fight

For all of you guys that just don't see crazy crap like that and make it click:

Step-by-Step -
1.Take the exp you have now and subtract it from the total exp you need to level
2.Take that number and divide it by your estimate of the exp you are getting per fight.
3.Divide that number by 1.8
4.Divide that number by 60

Enjoy everybody, if it doesn't work for you tell me and I can make an adjustment specific for your situation.

*EDIT* Typo fix xD

that is exactly where the one small error can occur in the equation, I used 1.8 because in many cases a team can get through 2 fights in 1 minute. The 1.8 gives a little room for extra walking time or an extra respawn or two. The 1.8 is the number of battles done in 1 minute not the length of time needed to fight.

To everybody who thought it will be useful: No problem and glad it can help

To you poor guys that couldn't get it I am sorry but I can't really make it any less complicated.....it is just a complicated equation sorry.

Well like i said it won't be perfect but if you try it i promise it will be close. If you were to change the 1.8 to the time it takes for 1 battle it would be even more off because the 60 is meant to be the minutes in an hour. You would have to find a new variable to replace the 60 because you can't change the 1.8 without altering the 60.

Thanks very much wildcat, I have been using this forever but I never thought to share it until last night XD

sorry again for you guys that can't get it, maybe later Ill try to make it a little more understandable for those who aren't math people.

So, I finally have time to try to simplify this.
Here for all you that didn't get it:

-Move your cursor over the exp bar under your characters picture in the top-left hand corner of the screen.
-Take the number on the left and subtract it from the number on the right.
(ex. 20,000/320,000 your number would be 320,000 - 20,000 = 300,000)
-Look and see what exp you are getting in your fights. (ex. 200)
-Take your first number and divide it by the second number
(ex. 300,000/200 = 1,500)
-Take that number and divide it by 1.8 (ex. 1,500/1.8 = 833.34)
-Take that number and divide it by 60 (ex. 833.34/60 = 13.89)

So using that example it would take you around 14 hours to level up one time

Sorry if you still don't get it there is literally no way I can simplify this more.

Hope this helps,
-balt

Yea you are definitely right about the assumptions being made but the only assumption is in the "1.8" of the equation. There is very much so no perfect way to create an equation when it varies from person to person. The 1.8 is the closest estimate I could find that would, in most cases, create the answer that each person is looking for. In some cases it may vary up to 7 or 8 hours in either direction but I would say that that would be the extreme.

As for your 15 battles idea, yes that would be the ideal variable for each person to individualize the scenario. Yet I wanted to make the equation simple so as to be close to accurate, never perfect. When you find your answer I would leave room a couple hours in either direction for the assumptions made to fall into place.

*EDIT* and thanks Sarin xD

I am using The Equation on a regular basis on my pet leveling. It helps me maximize the leveling process.

Great, I'm glad you are getting some good out of it. I tried to adjust it to handle gst/burst training and......it's impossible xD. Oh well it works for grinding so we are all set for that.
