When i was new to the game I thougt the only critical (or crit.) weapons in the game where the IM ones. Well there is actually an in-game crit. weapon that is hard to get but very worth it in the end. For everybody out there that wants a crit weapon so badly but doesn't have the money to buy one from the IM this is for you.

STEP1-

The quest begins in Cairo, Egypt where the villager by the East exit talks about a mysterious guy that never needs to drink or eat. Well he asks you to check it out so you head North into the mantis-infested desert and you take the North-East route from there I believe. (A ? icon is there so you can't miss it.) Well you find this guy and he shows you his true form. (Turns out he is a marsian(idk if i spelled that right but i propbably didn't) Anyways he is from mars. There is a small fight (i did it when i was lvl 80 with just 2 lvl 100+'s and we barely got scratched its not hard) After you beat the guy he asks your forgiveness and says he will leave. You go back and lie to the villager saying that the "man" is perfectly normal(then the idiot beleives youXD).

SECOND STEP-

Now you need an airship. Take the airship to the desert outside Cairo (where all the pyramids are, if u did the Frederico quest this place will look familiar) u need to fly up the pyramid directly North of that little stonehenge or whatever it is. After you wonder through the passeges a bit you fight The Scorpion King--ohhh scary jk. Anyways he multiplies into like 12 of him and you have to pick the right one. Ok so im going to try to make a visual

. . . . C . . . .
. . B . . . F . .
A . . . E . . . I
. . D . . . H . .
. . . . G . . . .
ok so if those are the monsters(sorry for the crappy visual) you would pick "D"
Now this fight is a little more challenging u should have a team of at least 1 fire lvl 130+ and 1 water lvl 130+ and yourself.
Well u kill the dude and u get a key(thats for later)

THIRD STEP-

Now from the pyramid go to the South-East corner of the map where u find.....your friend the guy from mars who is having a little car trouble(well spaceship trouble but whatever)He asks you to get him one magnet stone and three magnets.(ok so for this part i spent like 30k in carnie buying all of it from other players but you can make them id you want to)
After you give him the "goods" he flies away in his spaceship back to mars.

FOURTH STEP-

Now you need a spaceship(if u dont have one borrow one from a friend). Fly up to mars and you fight a few little mars dudes(very easy fights) then you find your little buddy from earth again. He gives u a "Mars Monilith" or something like that and now u fly back to earth.

FINAL STEP-

Ok your almost done now. Now you go back to Cairo and go to the little statue thing in the middle of the city and help the acrobats with a little battle.(its not to hard the team that helped with the scorpion king will work easily). After the fight you click on the statue and it opens ip(u have to have the mars monolith with you) Now u wander into a tomb where there is a scene and then the big fight. This fight is gonna take a really strong team. My team was: LVL 103 KILLER FIRE, LVL 97 WIT WATER, LVL 93 WIT FIRE, and me.(you dont need a team this strong but you need really high lvls like 180+ and if the killer has DS it helps alot.)After this crazy battle u get to choose your crit. weapon of choice which is either a staff(wand whatever) or a halberd.

Well there is the quest please give me your imput:)

oh sweet. well the warriors is +50attack 14% crit. chance and the mages is +50 (or 40 i dont remember)magic attack and 14% crit. chance so they have better stats than the IM ones but the crit rate is higher by 10% on the IM ones

OK i realized after writing this that the key you get from the Scorpion King is used in a side quest later. So i might as well post that side quest here.

Getting the Spacecraft Design

Step one is already finished if u have the crit weapon because step 1 is beating the scorpion king.

STEP 2

-This step takes you to the jungles of Mayan where people run wild and cannbals always want to eat you. (you will need an airship for this) Take the airship to the very North-East corner of the map (outside of the village) and there is a trap door that you go in. You go through the tunnels fighting some Mayan Rocket Men (which,to my displeasure, can NOT be catched) and you will arrive at a door. The key from the Scorpion King magically unlocks the door for you and you go into a room where you see a spacecraft. As always you go to investigate and again as always find yourself in trouble. You now fight a bunch of guards (the team that helped with the Scorpion Kibg will have no problem). After you beat them you get the spaceship design(which is very complicated) and you are on your way.

All input is welcome.

Nice work buddy, There are actually yet three other criticals you are not aware of, the Dragon Skill Quest ones, The sword or the wand, Jiar and Yiar Samurai Katanas pack their own built in Critical which varies between 8% to 42%, and you can slap a Critical Diamond in one if you feel like raising it ^^ and...this may sound bizarre , but from a friend which played the original version of the game ..The Warrior Falchion that can be bought from the Weapon Props Shopkeeper at Kyoto, it has about...lets...say...uhm...0.001% Critical chance XD

Thanks for the input, you are correct i didn't know about the DS weapons (though i knew of the skill an am probably getting it soon). Also I had heard of the Katana's having crit but never got one that was marked with crit. before(maybe they just don't say they have crit) but this is just the one I know exactly how to do the quest to get. BTW what are the stats od the DS weapons?
