It's a nice idea but it's compeltely wasted in this forum. This is a database for helping people in the game. When it comes to hackers and scammers we can't do anything. The admins here are regular players like everyone else. We are not GM's so we can't do anything for people in game. The official forums has a way to report scammers and hackers and they can do something about it. We can't. All we can do is go to the official forums and make a post to come to our report section and look at the latest scammer/hacker reports or post the topic itself. But why should that be put on the admins shoulders to make sure everyone's scammer/hacker problem is looked into?
Also. There is a reason all of the scammer/hacker topics here on wlodb.com were locked. I locked them for the specific reason that everyone posts without proof. Most of the scammer/hacker reports given are fake and it casts doubt on the real reports. From what I have seen in my own server when people call another person a hackers it's for these reasons:
- Lost at a pk event or a pk match on SB
- Felt cheated after a trade was done even though they agreed to the terms before hand.
- Jealous over equips/lvl
- Heard from a friend of a friend of a friend whose gf's sister's friend knew of a person on sb that said so-and-so was a scammer/hacker.
- Heard a conversation between friends were one is being accused of being a hacker (for fun)
If we create a place for people to 'report' scammers/hackers we well just be inviting people to post even when they are just mad at another person for no good reason. I've posted in some of the scammer/hacker topics we had on here before about providing proof before posting that someone is a hacker/scammer but that never stop anyone from posting. So even if we make that a rule it won't stop anyone. They'll still post and then admins would have to come through and either delete/lock the posts/topics.

The reports submitted to IGG barely help in stopping the scammers and IGG is able to do something about it. So if these things are posted on wlodb.com it will have even less of an effect because we can't do anything.
