there's no need to make a new topic about this guys. Every time we get a spammer on wlodb.com we end up getting a topic opened about it and we waste server space. It's not helping anything by posting here. Just wait for one of the admins to get on. They'll IP ban the person who did this and delete their profile so all of their posts are gone and the home page will be correct again. this always happens (about once a month or every other month) so no need to open a topic every time it happens.

It's not a new topic EVERY time! People have the right to comment as much as they like.

Did I say people can't make a comment? No. I said we shouldn't make a new topic every time there is a spammer on the forums. It wastes server space for topics from people with actual questions. I'm not saying people don't have the right to comment but people need to stop and think before they post and ask themselves if they really need to post.

P.S - Edit your posts please. don't post a quote and then what you want to say in a post under that. Just click quote then type whatever you want to say after the [/quote]. thanks ^^

It's cool I was just saying I don't think we should make topics about it since the Admins delete their topics anyway. After they delete the topics then we are stuck with a topic saying there is a spammer but the spammer is already gone. If you want to make a topic that says something like 'hey admins can you delete these posts' then when it's done delete the topic I don't mind anything like that. But this topic will likely stay open and the next time a spammer comes up we'll have another topic about the spammer. I think it's just a waste of space. But that's my opinion and some have different opinions than me.

it was something like 111112223334445555 or something like that XD they created a whole bunch of topics. Probably about getting free IM points or something. I didn't pay attention. I just block out those toics and wait for an admin to clear the topic so we can use the site again. XD

Sadly there are some people out there who lack the maturity to post on forums and find it funny to spam the entire forum. It's kind of like how some people go to high school or college to learn and there are others that go because they think it's a big party or social event. We are the students sitting quietly in class with our books open doing the class work and not causing any problems and these spammers are the guys that lack maturity and think they are professional football players because they can throw paper balls to each other >_< or their the girls that take out their makeup and put more on while talking to their friends about their boyfriend or the shoes that bought at the mall over the weekend >_< Most of them thrive on the attention we give them to stop what they are doing. All we can do is tell them in a passing comment how to correct what they are doing but to mostly ignore them. They can't get any satisfaction or attention from us if we ignore them. And best thing to do once we have Mods is to let the Admins and the Mods deal with the spammers and everyone else should just ignore them.

But, that's usually the slowest method to dealing with those types of people.. I find a stern warning of what will be done, and a small, non-perminant demonstration works a LOT faster. Once they make a solid enemy, they have to watch their actions..

And trust me... I have a VERY sick, cruel, and evil sense of torture. Heh. Heh.

Have you ever had a fantasy about hanging someone by their eyelids while you rip off each and every one of their nails and toe nails? Hanging them over a cauldron of boiling water and slowly lowering them in? ripping out someones skull then beating them to death with it while they scream " how is this even possible?" :)

Zero, you're more sick than even me for that one. the worst torture I've thought of was severing the primary blood vessels for the arms and legs...
arterial necrosis is NOT possible to recover from, can only be prevented by amputation, but, with the main blood vessels gone, the first thing to go are the nerves for movement, so by the time they need to get help, it's too late.
