If you rb them early the damage won't really make a difference if you cuss or not. I would wait til you're *at least* 160-180 to rb. Cuss burst was really slow until I made a cuss slave and rebirthed him at 180.
The difference in cape and the extra levels really do help if you're building a full str character or planning to rebirth.
Some people can get from level 1 rb to 81 in no time but the cape sucks, it really does, and if you don't know how to speed-level (usually with other rbs) it takes a really long time to level up
Tldr?: I rebirthed early, don't do it.
