This is for anyone that is having trouble bursting Charlotte on a water. Sorry if there is already a post on this, but I couldn't find one.

Anyway, I was bursting Charlotte on my water character and was only getting 38 exp per battle once Charlotte turned level 41. I asked many people to help me, but no one could figure out what was wrong.. I finally did figure it out though, so I thought I'd post it.

Order I was using to burst her:
Defend, Defend, Vanish, Thunder Ball, Thunder Ball

Tips for bursting Charlotte:
1. Make sure Charlotte has enough SP to last the entire battle.
2. Keep her speed low so she can combo with the other pets/chars. I'm using a -200. Be aware of the level of MOBs and make sure the weight will not break.
3. In the second round, do not use water shield or Charlotte will not get good exp.
4. Do not use RECOVERY (for HP) or Charlotte will not get good exp. Replace water shield with Cure or Magic Recovery. This is what I discovered. xD

Order my water was using:
Shrink, Cure/Magic Recovery, Freeze, Sleep, Shrink

That's all I can think of right now. I'll add more if I've forgotten any. (:

does she have to use her thunder ball or can just normal attack? and could u share some pictures so we can see how much xp she gets?

You can use normal attack, but I've found that you get less exp using it. I hope these are the kinds of pictures you meant, if not tell me. It was difficult to keep the conditions the same (unpredictable crits and the pets kept leveling after every round), but using Thunder Ball seems to give more exp. (:

My team is 3 fires, 1 water. Fire levels are 180 (using DS), 172 (using Fire Combo Beating) and 142 (using Hagendis Hit). Charlotte was level 42 with maxed Thunder Ball.

Please note: I took these pictures on a NON 2X day, and the pets I'm using are level 18 so I really should of changed them before taking pictures. But I hope it gives a good estimate for exp. xD

so she IS burstable

nice, i burst my charlotte to lvl 70 then started training at pangos with her cause bursting her was just wasting syrups at that point for the low exp she was getting

She is burstable yes, but as the comment above implies she stops getting exp at a higher level.. I'm trying to figure out how to fix that, so far no luck on my fire's Charlotte.

I've heard that she stops getting good exp when she is 20 levels above the MOBs you are training on. This seems logical.. my fire's Charlotte dropped in exp once she hit level 62 and the cirrus I'm bursting on are level 42. I'll have to see if the same thing happens on my water's Charlotte.

If anyone can give their opinion about the theory I heard above (if your Charlotte stopped getting exp too) or how to fix Charlotte's burst so she gets good exp at a higher level, let me know. (:

I always thought you had to keep moving to higher areas as Charlotte leveled

I just wonder , does she have good matk ? or you just "burst" her to riding pet and not to PvP. Maybe usefull the high spd for quests to supply. Ok they are my ideas :D. In my server i heard that you have to burst her at mobs what's are higher than her above+10lv but not higher with +19 lvl. I never "bursted" charlotte , but goodluck -P if her rb will be in new version i may burst one. Btw , any idea how to do it in a wind ? 2 fire 1 water team or 3 fire team ? Thanks for your answer :)

my water had a lvl 1 charlotte , i tried out and she has got 8K exp atbeetles :) as you said , no water shield on her :P

And to reply to your first post charlotte doesnt have any good stats. shes not a human pet she is a beast pet. if you can get her high enough with amazing agi, then shes really good for a swift saddle.

Only Problem she isn't tradeable. Anyway... Knight's riding rate still works on her , right ?

i suppose it makes sense.

I'm using Charlotte as a riding pet. I'll post the stats of my two Charlotte's so you can see her MATK, but it's not very high. xD

As for bursting Charlotte with a wind, I have never tried that so I can't really comment on that. But I do know that one of the wind char's skills needs to be replaced with another skill (similar to how water cannot use water shield). If I find out how, I'll post it. (:

you can use a wind necklace on her. The one after you get when you kill clive. it boots speed up alot on winds. like a smaller SPD Ring

yea , that gives 1,5x spd -P but i have spd ring for qlaya , and if i put swift saddle on charlotte then nvm :D Ok , so somehow i have to try out how that may works to me >.< IF you know a better way to get higher exp at her that would be same good , cause my chars already reborned so i don't care about their exp.

well if wind has to change a skill, it's probably the speedup on pet

Well her armlet gives +200 spd, so without her armlet on the SPD Ring or Clive's Necklace wouldn't give me as much of a bonus. And yes, knights get a speed boost from Charlotte like other pets. :D

I guess you did normal burst, but did you also try out that your fires don't do anything in first and second round? I mentioned on my Xaolan that she got more exp after I stopped using debuff skills in bursting by the fires.

I would be very keen on knowing it.

Hmm interesting theory to test, but I'll have to test it when I'm not using remotes because I'm bursting to raise my fires' levels. I hope you don't mind waiting. XD Did you just make your fires defend then? Or did they use a skill like Soul Dodge?

I was selling burst to friends until lvl 180. While bursting I used my 2 rb chars (I did cuss bursting) and the other 2 fires. One fire got 180 first and then i made him def the first 2 rounds (My Wit was using soul dodge in first round so the burst was like always 4-5 rounds) and i mentioned my Xaolan's exp increased dramatically!
I don't know about it, when everyone is there only for that human pet, but you should try it out as I did:
Lets say your water and 2 fires are normal bursting and the third fire is deffing the first 2 rounds, then you might see an increase. Afterwards you could also try out to make 2 fires to def in the first 2 rounds.
This would be very interesting.

And also I want to know is that how much exp she gets with cow lvl 1.

Alright I can try that, but I don't have a RB Wit as my main is going to 199 and it'll take me 6+ months to get to 199.. x.x But I can try just defending the first two rounds and post pictures.

Also, I wasn't using cows when I took the pictures above. So to keep some variables the same, I think I'll use the same pets as before. But if you want specifically cows, I can try that too after my auto burst is over. xD
