Hey, its me again, so I have just created a new alchemist (Free0fSins) and I was wondering:

1.What's the best way to upgrade your alchemy to the highest level? Because for right now I have been using stacks (small wooden gears, wooden hooks, and fire wood) and so far that's only gotten me up to lvl 4 (Primary alchemy) is there a more effective way to level up the alchemy? What's the highest level primary, junior, and superior alchemy goes up to? some people say its 30, but I don't know...... also, when it's max level, what can u make with it? I want to know because I don't know if it would be worth it to level it up to level 10+ and then go on to junior alchemy, or just to level it up to like 5 or 6 then move on, I wanna be the best alchemist I can be!

2. What type of build should an alchemist have? I asked around, and people said that the best way is to get the alchemist to level 120+ for instances, but what type of build should I give him? should it be all atk? He's fire btw.

3.How long should it take to max out the alchemies? I know that some of them take a really long time like junior alchemy and such, but I just wanna know how long to know if I'm doing it the most efficiently I could be leveling it up. thanks for all your help

1. (Lvling alch) copper ore, wooden gears, wood, etc. Compound one by one (not stacks) til everything is gone. Basically all you can do to level it and they all cap out at level 30 though most alchemists suggest to get at least level 10 to start with.

I'll let Alchemy correct me on this but: I don't think you really neeeeddd to level primary so I'd start with Junior

2. (Alch build) it doesn't matter, you can even build him as an extra for your team if you want because as long as you smack around at least one enemy in an instance it still counts towards reward!

Also, have you read guides? We have plenty here and I'm sure the official forum has tons more if you can't find something here.

Vampire just pretty much summed it up.

1.30 is the max level of all life skills including all types of alchemy.

You can pretty much make anything eqs at any level. It's just that you have a less chance of failing if your alchemy is much higher. Even if you have max alchemy, you can still fail since everything is not 100%. i remember making my first heavy spear with a junior of lvl 7. It was luck but i dont think i wouldve gotten it again.

and yeah, dont worry about primary. Just pretend its invisible. focus on getting junior to 10, and then work on superior alchemy. Use junior over primary if you cannot get Superior alchemy. Superior alchemy is the one where you'll want to lvl, not the other 2. You can make all types of eqs even with low alchemy. The only eq that can be made really fast and sell good is the Gold rip bracers/shadow pestles. There are many guides out there but i use a different and efficient method to make mines. I can show you how i make it but maybe another post.

2.the way you build him doesnt really matter. i made my alchemist a fun build(knight mage), since he do instance sometimes and never the main quests. I leave that to my mains.

3.ive been playing since 2010 and i still havent maxed out my alchemy. It only takes commitment and a drive to level it. After i got my sup to lvl 20, i kinda stop there and just only make eqs. and so far i gained 3 lvls just from making eqs and such. I have a friend that has max alchemy so i sometime ask him and her to do my final formulas which is why i dont have a need/motivation to max my alchemy since i have someone i can use lol.

Heres a nice video explaining how to level your alchemy

Thanks so much alchemy

No one in Pisces helps with alchemy, only quests, and even the, they cost like 8m, so I have to do everything myself. Okay I'm glad I asked before I got far with primary alchemy, mine is still only level 4.

np. im glad i could help.
I hope its not to late to change servers. Pisces is kinda inactive and quiet. You should go for the more active and crowded server.

I recently started playing again in taurus so let me know if you need anything.

I wasn't thinking about moving to Taurus completely, but I'm going to set up a character or two there.

Maybe I'll see you there, and besides, I like Pisces, I have good friends there!

Hey, so I've started leveling up my junior alchemy, and im not teven thinking about superior alchemy, I hav to finish my crystal furnace first, im not gonna go through the whole fighting pandas thing. I just really don't like that method.

So anyway, I was wondering, at what lvl Junior Alchemy should I actually start making eq for the team?
Personally, I was thinking level 10, but that seems a bit too high, although having a Junior alchemy level 10 does seem tempting and useful
