so I began a new char, and I decided to train a Niss on it, because I've never trained one before. first level up, she adds INT. YAY! second level up, she adds WIS. I was expecting this, so no surprise there. then I go afk for a few hours and...she's now lvl 7 and has 3 STR. STR!! WTF?
yeah, I know about scrolling, but since it's still early on, I could just remake the char and see if I get a better early growth, instead risking her adding more STR and wasting all the free scrolls. such is my luck.
lol I think my main had a messd up Rocca and Xao, but since I went with Magellan, that wasnt much of an issue, except for the fact that he likes adding WIS now and then.
that being said, I did remake the char, and now that Niss added int and agi, so it's much better.
I know am just saying. That's why i said "Wish" not hope or should be. There's a difference in those people -_-' and IGG is making more than enough money if you people didn't know. Been playing since wlo was new so i know they made more than enough.
Adding the points on our own? That's bullshit mate lol. That way everyone would have a perfect frederico or niss.
umm i dont think so. if we could add points how we want, we wouldn't need to buy scrolls so even a non-IMer could be satisfied with his pet. also, its not that everyone would just make niss or fred, if we can customize the built people would come up with various builts on different pets and that way most pets wouldn't be neglected like they are now. anyne now who wishes to make a perfect pet need to buy IM so usually people think that because they are spending, why not spend on the most productive pet, which neglects other pets such as charlotte, shizune, megalin etc
if we can add points on pets that would be awesome lol...
this way i can get my pets to have a good build without using my pet scrolls...especially my fred and niss who kept adding to their wisdom and my other pets are doing fine...but in that case noone really needs pet lethe anymore.
And to add up to that, the pet system is only another way for IGG to make money as if they don't have enough events and other stuff for it. Plus it would help the people who can't buy IM points or who are smart enough not to spend too much or a lot of money for a game. I know they need to earn money but come on, you serious it isn't enough?
I just thought it would be neat, and as ajinkya007 says, not all players will pick niss or fred. People will still pick useful pets like shasha, qlaya, victoria and others. I sometimes feel sorry for the other people who cant even afford an IM remote much more scrolls for their pets cause surveys isn't available to their country.

Exactly feeding the pets which would require IM points, scroll the pets which would require IM points as well. I know there are events for getting such items, but the chances of you actually getting them are not really high so yeah.

Igg doesn't have the char voices cause they'd have to hire people to record it..

and they should. it's a business, not a charity. not gonna get further into it, because it's unrelated to the thread itself.
as good as adding points to your pets would be, I think it would only encourage cookie-cutter builds. on the other hand, it could somehow encourage getting often overlooked pets.
Good luck on your pet training, it's annoying and requires alot of effort. Though in my personal opinion...it's rather pointless..

anyway, I'd rather train a burstable pet, but just wanted to try Niss. not even sure if I will go all the way with it, since the original plan was getting Eva with that char. I do have a char with a lvl 70 Clive tho.

but that's a pointless comment. people play games for entertainment, not to get anywhere in life. well, except for game testers. those get paid for it.
then there are possible skills involved, like math, decision making, etc.
A game is supposed to serve many purposes. Some for educational purposes, some for financial purposes, some for stress-relieving purposes, and some just for the fun of it or to pass time. But in the end it isn't going to get you anywhere in life, even if you test games for a living, that won't be much of an accomplishment to say when someone asks you what you do for a living: "Oh I play games for 12 hours and make $10 an hour" while if you're dedicated to a job that is more productive you could say "oh I design sky scrapers, bridges, and I've made the newest iphone 5 and make $100-$100,000 an hour", or perhaps "I save peoples' lives". And yes it is possible to earn $100,000 an hour, Bill Gates makes $250 per second, so yea..do the math.

I've heard pets distribute stats according to the player's stats or something like that. I myself have no idea of that concept, but my killer always gets the good pets that have perfect builds or decent builds. I wouldn't try to go on with that niss if she continues to add wiz as much as int though, in the end she'll have around 100ish wiz and 100ish int. Best to hope for a niss that has int as the most, you could achieve that by making chars and training the niss to lvl 10 or so and delete the character if the niss adds to bad stats.

about that Niss, well, I redid the char some days ago and she was going int wis agi, but haven't really being training with that char much lately.
Good luck with Niss, a friend of mine on Scorpio, which I had played with, had trouble getting the correct build he wanted even though he used tons of scrolls on it.

If people spent more time studying or learning how to program or be innovative, there would be more Bill Gates than Justin Biebers fans.
Anyways, gratz on char, though might I ask what the stat build-up of your char is? I've seen that my melee chars have a frequency to add nice stat build-ups and if wanted a char that is a melee, if I were you I'd do what I suggested earlier until you get a niss with int as highest, wiz as second, agi, con, and str. Adding str is perfectly normal for niss, my lvl 64 niss on my earth adds str every few levels, but int is the highest stat.

well char is gonna be a tanky water, but right now it's wis-whoring because I like having most bursting skills before I get gs.
I wouldn't mind a pet adding on the wrong stat sometime during the leveling process, but not on the first 6 levels. that's too soon and sets a precedent.
Tank water, hmm..Niss adding wiz isn't bad considering her skill consumes like 100+ sp or so, but in my opinion 1500 should be enough, my vic skill cost like 90ish sp and she has 1000ish sp and she does fine without using sp food for a couple of rounds. But go along and see how it goes, if you don't plan on feeding her or pilling her, than you'll just have to hope you get lucky, otherwise she'd end up having like 90 agi, 120 int, 100 wiz when she is a decent rb level. I'd prefer a build-up like 150 int, 50-80 wiz, 50-70 agi and 100+ con. But I guess that's just a dream that most cannot achieve without patience or money.
Another suggestion might be to add all con on your water first to first 20 levels and see if niss follows, for pets like niss, I'd prefer con over int any day, in fact, my vicky has more con than str, but that's just her natural build-up, was lucky to get her +45 str when she rbed.
