You can, but the chances of someone tracking down someone who is using a proxy is very slim unless they are a gifted hacker. Ironic though, I think the only reason he was caught was because he hacked the FBI and the CSI website, haha, kinda makes me envy him for being so talented, but yet at the same time pity him for being so idiotic.
