I am not sure to buff on yourself has same amount exp as to buff on pet.
Maybe in normal training, I am quite sure it doesn't work in Goddess Skill Training. Because it is according to your level. If you are level 150 and fighting against a straw chicken of level 12, then the buff will only ended waste, so no exp from that. But on level 5 pet against level 12 chicken... <_<

I have a theory about usage of Shrink.
Normal, Slowdown has effect of 3 rounds, so it will wore off after 3 rounds. It is impossible to get exp from Slowdown in the first round of 4 rounds battle with 1 mob.
But Shrink helps Slowdown to get 1 round more, so it has effect of 4 rounds now, which is very useful for 4 rounds battle with 1 mob.
That is why it needs good working Shrink in the Goddess Skill Training, otherwise it will be failed. In short:

Only Slowdown = 3 rounds
Shrink + Slowdown = 4 rounds

So conclusion: slowdown -> poison spell -> hot fire -> hagendis hit/5-star hit/fire combo beating, requirement: Shrink in the first round.
if i remember correctly, you can't Duel Debuff a target with a skill that does the same thing as another skill. for example. you can't use Shrink, on a target that has Slowdown already used on it. actually... since Shrink Debuffs nearly all stats on the target.. i don't think you can use nearly any other stat debuff when someone is shrunk.. but please, correct me if im wrong. :D
