wlodb.com is a bit different from other forums in that Wlodb.com's coding is written by Scott himself. While other forums are normally generic in nature. A few website have certain types of forums that you can choose from that have certain features and then you just add a background a bit of formatting (text color, forum names, menus, read/locked/new post icons). The sites look unique because of the formatting you can do but they all have the same basic features offered by the people who support the websites design. Take these 2 websites:
http://prdg.foroactivo.com/forum.htm
http://misery.s2.bizhat.com/
I'm just showing these sites as an example because I used both of these sites before

Both have the same basic design. Yes they have different icons to show their posts and the coloring is different but the basic funtions of the page are the same.

You will probably not find another site like wlodb.com. It is unique because Scott writes all of our coding. So when you see razz this face show up Scott had to write the code for the site that what when it sees this code [:P] it will link it to the image of this face razz. Everything you see on this site had to be written at some point by Scott. Sometimes the site can seem to be less advanced as other forums so we don't have the buttons to bold text automatically and we need to type in but we have come a long way from when wlodb.com first started. At first there were no banners and you couldn't upload images directly to the site. All of these things that may seem like small updates and kind of insignificant were all written out (with the complex code that makes my brain spin XD) by Scott and tried out on his private wlodb.com page to work out the bugs and then added to the public site. Wlodb.com doesn't have a default layout like sites with designs supported by other websites. We are completely unique and everything you see here was created by Scott ^_^ As the site grows I'm sure Scott will add more features and eventually we will have the buttons available when we post so people don't have to memorize the codes. I hope you all will stick with us as wlodb.com growns and advances. Please give us your ideas for the site here but remember Scott works on all of this himself so don't expect tons of updates overnight. We will get to the suggestions eventually. ^_^

I hope I explained a bit of the difference between the sites. I'm kind of in the middle of working and have some deadlines hitting soon so I think I became a bit scatter brained while typing. Sorry if I did. redface
