lol well I'm not a fan of the symbols and scott agreed that they are a bit distracting. I made the topic so that users know they need to change their usernames soon if they have symbols in them. We can't touch anyones username right now because if we change it then it changes their log in. So for the time being we are leaving this up to the individual to change their username. If we have members who refuse to change their username once we put the filter in then we might go in and change their username and send an email to the email they registered with and tell them their new username. I'm not sure when (of if) that will happen. But for the time being I just want users to know that if they have any symbols in their username if they could kindly remove them it would be much appreciated. ^^
