Typically the main choice is Physical or Magical. You will notice your main skills/spells are broken down into those two categories. All of the Physical and Magical skills are about doing damage. Nothing else. Assist skills/spells do the fancy stuff and you can get those as a Physical or Magical character.

Physical is STR based
Magical is INT based
Assist varies. Check your skills window.

The problem you are going to run into is that you have been putting points into both STR and INT. Don't worry I did the same thing. Right now you are leaning towards a Physical Water char. I don't know of many of these. Most water chars I know are Magical. I think the high INT helps their Assist skills.

If you want to go Magical, and you are determined to make your character the best it can be, you should start your character over. Make sure you choose the best starting player for your what you want to be and spend the points only on INT, WIS, CON, and AGI. The starting players have different starting stats and recommended elements.

If you just play to have a good time and horse around then stick with the char you have now and just decide on Magical or Physical then spend your future points accordingly.

Physical char:
STR, WIS, CON, and AGI.

Magical char:
INT, WIS, CON, and AGI.

If you think you will be Bursting or Goddess Skill Training then get your WIS up first to get all of the Assist skills.
