I would have posted sooner but took me forever to think of the name XD I kept thinking 'it looks like that paper that you click on to make your house larger......what the large house thing called?....gosh stupid large house thing. I can't even do a search cause I don't know what is called. ahhh!!!!' My family was looking at my strange cause I was running around my house yelling about some large house thing XD

Tenami, if you make a screenshot of an item:
1) Use BMP or PNG file. If you use JPG it compresses the file and messes up an image. It's useless now.
2) Move cursor over a box where item lies, click on free space in the box so that cursor won't cover an item (right-lower corner is the best) and drag an item. Make a screenshot while dragging- this way you'll get rid of a item number counter.
(There are also few other methods for that. If item is compoundable you can just add it to compound screen and it will appear below the pot without a counter. Expressing should do that to I think)

Those two things are necessary to make an accurate item icon (without painting some "probable" pixels over item counter, or dealing with jpg compression marks).

I thought about editing the first post or adding the second- filling it with some guidelines on how to edit item/monster images (editing/cropping, correct sizes, correct filetypes and so on) so that anybody could participate and post GOOD images (not the uneditable ones with numbers and jpg marks). What do you guys think?

I redid the magic sandglass pic. It looks a little different as it is the one in the pic from the Item Mall not what you actually get once you buy it in game but the magic sandglass pic you provided was squished a bit.

It was squished a lot, but that was exactly what it looked like. :)

they must have done some weird update to mess with the pic. o.o I got one of those once and it never looked like that. Mine came up the same way though x.x Well I dont like the squished magic sandglass XD But if people want the squished sandglass then I'll change it ^_^

we mean Missing item icons. Like the name of the topic says. When people add new items the icons are not on the database server so they have no picture just a question mark. If you have a png file of any of the items that are missing icons then you can post it here and we will upload it to the wlodb.com server so the item icon shows and we don't have the question marks

thanks ret. I updated the dragonfly and the first guard. I'll update the others when I get home from work tomorrow. I'll email scott and see what he wants to do about the guards in the cellar. Maybe for now we can list them as being in Holy but I'll see how he wants to do it if there is some way we can make the cellar location as a sub location for Holy so it only appears when you click on Holy but doesn't create a whole new location when you click the locations tab. I'll see what Scott has to say though ^_^

Need nested locations, eh? I expect all 3 are in the cellar, but they may also be in the church battle? Anyway, only "Guard (2)" shows up as a normal mob. If the others are in there, it is only during quests that I did long ago.

they could show up when you do the Undeserved Roca or the one where you resque the villiagers. I'll have to try it out with an alt one of these days.

I mentioned the locations thing to Scott and he said it is doable and it's on the todo list for the site. So if you have any monsters that are located in places like the cellar in Holy just list their location as being in holy but send me a PM with the real location and I'll keep a list so when Scott has time to do that update I'll go in and make the changes.
