But if you try to buy that food from lets say 8/12, you can see it's pretty expensive. You can also use some junk 8% crit katana from instance too and take twice as long to do a quest. Sure no problem there. You still haven't taken into account of the other things needed to prepare for the quest itself. Still need escape buttons for certain quests and whether you use good gear or "useless equipment" it's still equipment you're going to have to replace when it's broken. Prices of everything is on the rise, not going down anytime soon. Yes the game is supposed to be fun. People have their own definition of what they think fun is on this game. Some people like PK, I for one don't care for it. If you have fun helping beggars who probably won't even say thank you and then ask you to pay for the ride to take you there, or then beg you for some gold after, then that's great for you. Good to have someone who wants to help these people. But the fact of the matter is the game has an economy. Buy/sell/trade. If you want to get nice things in this game, you have to make money. Some people are good at alchemy. Some people are good at crafting. Some people buy and sell IM. And some people sell quests. To say that no one should sell quests is ridiculous. And to sell FB for a repair pot is insane. People work very hard leveling their characters and getting the right equipments, and tools and memorize their own special tactics to pass these quests. If everyone was as nice as you are and started selling me escape buttons, repair pots, food, and equipment for free, then sure all quests should be free too. But until then, I see no problem at all with people wanting to make some gold selling quests.

Maybe technically you can get free food from instance, but food is food and it's your food. But if you try to buy that food from lets say 8/12, you can see it's pretty expensive. Yes the game is supposed to be fun. People have their own definition of what they think fun is on this game. Some people like PK, I for one don't care for it. If you have fun helping beggars who probably won't even say thank you and then ask you to pay for the ride to take you there, or then beg you for some gold after, then that's great for you. Good to have someone who wants to help these people.
But the fact of the matter is the game has an economy. Buy/sell/trade. If you want to get nice things in this game, you have to make money. Some people are good at alchemy. Some people are good at crafting. Some people buy and sell IM. And some people sell quests. To say that no one should sell quests is ridiculous. And to sell FB for a repair pot is insane. People work very hard leveling their characters and getting the right equipments, and tools and memorize their own special tactics to pass these quests.
If everyone was as nice as you are and started selling me escape buttons, repair pots, food, and equipment for free, then sure all quests should be free too. But until then, I see no problem at all with people wanting to make some gold selling quests.

We buy the pestles... example (5-6m) + 10 SS to make +4 (15m~) = (20m+, Leo) and then we do it so often that we actually RUN out of food, and start buying from 24/7 shop (expensive)... Escape Buttons.. etc etc. We are spending hours to help stranger get the skill, and we get the job done. We know exactly what to do and we do it well. If you really think it shouldn't cost much at all, then better get your friends to help you, but most people aren't lucky enough to have high lvl friends who can just get them JS/DS for free. And as mikey said, this game has an economy. This is a JOB we take TIME to do and prepare for. You want someone's time in the real world? You pay them money. Of course it's not the real world here, where we expect real money, but they pay us in gold. What's wrong about that? I hate people who cry about "T_T IT SHOULD BE FREE T_T WHY WONT PPL HELP ME :(" Like so many kids in game do. Maybe you haven't done enough then I bet. I do them almost everyday, and I used to do them a bunch for free just helping friends. Here in Leo, repair pot = 600k and sometimes more. Escape = 250-350k Add that up and also offset some cost for the price of making my pestle +4 just to use for selling quest then a very small margin for the time taking to do the quest.
