yea the number on left seems to be for alchemy books (set number manually) steel thorn braces is(leather/copper/steel)
above formula is the main and standard formula famous to get steel thron braces, if u try again with that formula u can see it in range ----
demon gloves + sea Armour + demon gloves didn't show up because since software use simple logic in calculator part
primary = 49 (demon gloves =leather)
hence the steel thorn braces(leather/copper/steel = 49/18/27) don't fit to this category , so its not shown in result NOTE=> melone calculator does search for "primary/secondary" and "primary/none" also, when a primary + secondary formula is inserted
bronze trident ="copper/none" or only "copper"

NOTE=>before in other post i was saying i trust the items and its info (like stats and base materials) the compound calculator is a different issue and its not based on a reverse engineered work of game logic which calculates the compound result, melone calculator just use very simple logical search of item database i advice u
few calculators made so far(things i have seen) are all based on simple logical searches,of a given range of items from a database (confusing and complex things of alchemy like "type conversion"=eg "iron convert to common stone" aren't implemented) if my explanation is little confusing, sorry and pls tell me so that i can try explain again ====

i'm so glad, too...now we can easily make sure the rest of the items are classified correctly. i'll update the classifications tomorrow morning when i get up and add any that are missing. looks like hard tissue is the other one that is similar to canine. we can get those straightened out tomorrow as well. |

ChaosTitan, that is the same version of Melone. Open up the melone.ini with notepad. You should see a line saying language=ja change that to language=en and you have English. :) Spoiler: Level 156 fire

ok, i think i have fixed the classifications list. check here: http://wlodb.com/classifications i matched them up exactly with your list on the first page. i fixed all the canine/hard tissue items. almost all canine items were actually hard tissue. I went through and updated any armors/weapons had canine for a base and fixed those, too. few weird things: glass, silicon, quartz, lamp were classified as quartz but now i have switched them to silicon. like dotnet mentioned, melone says what we think is crystal to be called quartz...but, the crystal category is very weird in melone there are only a few items classified with this so far like snow crystal and tear staff (that we noticed). do you think we should follow melone and swap crystal and quartz? or just leave it as it is so it matches up with pbwiki and makes more sense logically? thanx for the update of type names, at free times ill try going through normal items and updating them , since wep/arm's are very much all complete about quartz and crystals im also curious to hear other people's opinions i do feel better we follow melone (assume its translation is correct), to enforce people to try and correct our wrong views on them but at the same time im also very much concerned about other people who dont know melone, but yet refer to this website getting confused about this what do others like seawolf,ryusaken,chaostitan.. think on it? I like Melone. Even though I'm not compounding much right now, and I don't know if I will get into it hard core, I love knowing the details. It takes a lot of the guess work out of the equation. I can understand how some might find Melone confusing. It may be just too granular for some. Maybe just a sticking on the Melone topic stating that anyone that is not very dedicated should not get discouraged if they don't understand Melone. I know there are a lot of people looking to the websites to get easy answers not details about the process. However, if these same people can't put up with the over detailed stuff like Melone, then they will never be able to get the simple answers from those who just get a kick out of figuring out the system. Heck, they should be encouraging the compounding geeks, that way someone else gets to waste all their money and time. :) Just my two cents. Spoiler: Level 156 fire

Hi Rawr,
For example: If you are using Primary Alchemy you get a +4 to your possible max rank. If you are using a Alchemy Book 2 you should set that number on the right to 6 instead of four. With that in mind, you also have to adjust that number if you are using the different classes of alchemy. Spoiler: Level 156 fire

wasn't sure where to post this but since i noticed this possible bug in game , just thought to share it , for anyone who is interested hehehe xD melone seems to show +6% anti-seal for flame gloves, but unfortunately melone don't shows item descriptions so only through game we know whats written in description, as seen in the picture it says flame glove is 10% anti-seal item hehehexD , im guessing flame glove is 6% anti-seal in game as melone shows but whoever entered data to game file database made a typo and wrote 10% there in description other anti seal follow sum of attributes = rank for armors rule well
and as for flame gloves assuming 6% as in melone it follows rule

i was intrigued by the item description that pops up when you double click a particular item..i can't understand most kanji but i was able to understand some of it. ステータス -> stats
買? -> buying price i think 売? -> selling price i think
????: gender restriction i think
btw, thanks for this melone..i think this is pretty convenient, handy and most of all accurate since it looks up into the game's actual data..now i can have an idea about the items that i still haven't seen so far in our server and some that may still not be in wlodb :) |

nope. you have some kind of problem. it doesn't translate everything. the most important thing though is the base materials. see here: try downloading direct from the creator's site: http://twc.xrea.jp/tool/melone0.4.zip then if you get a melone.ini after running it, change ja to en in melone.ini. |
