sad to say there are some people on here that for some reason don't care to show respect for the forums. Scott made us a great site to use for our benefit during the game and I personally believe that our way of showing appreciation would be to use the forums correctly (ie-no double posts, no spamming, searching for topics instead of being lazy and making a new topic) It would be nice to have forum admins that could delete posts that don't relate to a topic but that could cause some problems because people may think their posts are part of the topic while another might not believe that. Another thing I see is Scott would have to appoint people that he trusts completely to help in the forums that wouldn't let the power of being an admin go to their head to the point they delete any post they do not like. Being an admin is a major task and scott and everyone on wlodb has to trust them to not be bias.

If someone makes 100 posts in a topic to get ranks they are considered to be spamming and the topic is deleted. I believe the same should be true for those who go around post 'um' 'cool' 'wow' 'nice' in all the topics. It shouldn't matter if you are posting in 1 topic or many. if you are not posting anything related to the topic or your post does nothing to bring further discussion within a topic then you are spamming a topic. spamming is spamming period and I believe their should be a punishment for it. That's just my opinion though.

yeah it would be nice but we only have 2 people that can edit the forums (that I know of) Seawolf and Scott. And I don't think it's fair for us to ask them to read though all the topics and delete all the pointless off topic posts out there. Scott is busy trying to give us some updates and give us a better site and while there are a few people out there that can edit items and compounds it's not the same for topics. If scott decides to have a few forum admins then I think we should ask for off topic posts to be deleted but for right now with only 2 admins I don't think we should ask that much. In time we will get there and someone did bring up forum admins to scott in a topic about making the site better. So I'm sure it's on his mind and when he thinks we need forum admins he'll assign some people ^^
