Im having the same issue and I've tried installing the patch and reinstalling the complete game twice now. Someone clue me in if I need to do something else. Please!

you need to update the client can b found on the igg site
it could not b patched in coz it is v 5.0

I've tried that, I've uninstalled 3 times now. Everytime installing from the client link they provide in the V5 update posting. It never works.

all we can do now is ...wait >.<damnt

Hope they find some kind of fix for this. I just tried to reinstall again and it still downloads as the cursed palace. Kinda crappy that you make this spectacular update and then make it have issues with Vista. Boo, WLO, Boo!

download the client not patch it will give you the wlo v5.0 setup

if you are using vista ~~ did you try to use run as administrator? coz sometimes that is wut vista wants x.x

yes you have to and all so don't install into the old wlo file stick 1 or something next to it

I am not positive yet, but I think I may have figured out the problem on my machine. It says Vista users should download to C:// disk and on my machine it automatically saves to D://, so if u still cant download it you may want to check that. I had to change mine.

Ok nope, that didnt work either. No matter what I try it doesnt work, I guess I just have to quit WLO until they get their stuff together.

you should log on to the wl site and talk with live support. They might be able to help you a little more than we can. I have vista and I just downloaded the lastest patch from

and my game worked just fine.
But Live support should be able to help you. hope you can get it to work :)

Not a problem with vista,
Mines running smoothly.

^^ it wont be a problem as long as you choose run as administrator ~~ in my vista i cant save my screenshots unless i do that ==! which is same thing when i downloaded the client

TTTTTTTTT.i can't play WLO TTT.
help!!!

Im running on Vista and I had 1 problem. The WLO folder wasnt getting the updates, I had to transfer them from one folder to the WLO folder. Then I had to run as administrator. Never had to do that before but it works fine now!
