I'm wondering about taking a group to training island.

Can you take a group to the island?

Can more than just 1 person in the group use a ticket to get the EXP there?

Can you burst train on the island?

Can you take a person with you that does not have the ticket?
-> On IGG forums, I read something that non-ticketed players can be in your group but wont get EXP.

1.Training isle is located just north of North Island on map. You may reach it by boat if you start off from N. Isle's tip. Yes, it is possible to bring your hroup there.

2.ALL players in the team must have a training ticket running, otherwise they will get no exp.

3.NO. It was specially created for fast levelling on grinding way, this is why reborn chara owners love that place.

ok, so if I decide to goto training island, what techinques of fighting should I use?
Should I just normal attack?

Should I use buffs and debuffs similar to bursting?

Would doing a combo with a lower level player help increase EXP?
-> This I am figuring is a NO, since thats what bursting is. But I want to be certain. I'm saving to buy some tickets from players and want to get prepared as best as possible to make the most of it.

You will get a minimum of 200 exp per battle no matter who you are fighting. I was training kanako there with my lvl 143 water mage and even fighting the leopards which are around lvl 40 I believe I still got the 200 exp. So no matter who you fight or what lvl you are you will get a minimum of 200 exp.
Also you will recover 100 hp and 50 sp per turn. So if you want to lvl some of your skills you can and not have to worry to much about sp unless you are using skills over 50 sp.

No need for debuff/buff training. with the 200 exp minimum and the hp and sp recovery per round you will get more exp by just attacking. Like Alxyz said training island was not designed for bursting and since you only have a set amount of time you can train then it would be easier to just attack. I took my fire mage (with kanako pet) and water mage (with eva pet) to training island. both had lvl 1 pets and I was training around there. I had kanako and my fire mage just do regular attacks and had my eva use mess then regular attack and my water mage used freeze then attack. after about 4 hours I noticed that while my Eva was getting a little more exp per battle she was a few lvls lower than my kanako. Eva's battles were twice as long as kanakos so while Eva might have got more exp because of the extra time she spent fighting she ended up falling further and further behind. So your best bet is to just use regular attacks.

I believe your exp will be the same if you combo with a pet or not. My fire mage (lvl 113 at the time) would combo with my kanako and she never got extra exp from the combo. Just the minimum 200.

Debuffs/buffs are not counted to increase xp in that area. That combo you're talking about doesn't grant any extre xp either. As about fighting, use simple attack if possible, or a skill that consumes under 50 SP so you will not need SP food (after each turn the player and pet get healed 100 HP and 50 SP.).

ok, so I have to get setup to just attack on the first round and kill as fast as possible. Sounds like using a regular remote there would be just as good as the e-controler, which I happen to have at the moment. I guess I'll wait till the e-controler expires, and till then utilize it as much as possible for leveling pets and/or bursting.

Thanks for the advice and information about the island and what works/doesnt. I would have not liked going there and spending the 1st hour or so experimenting to find the fastest way to get most EXP/hr. Especially if figured out that I don't need the advanced remote options, that would just be a waste.

This is off-topic and I'm a long way from actually doing this, but whats the deal with people saying that bursting doesn't work after being reborn. I've seen a lot of bursting groups (at beetles or the Holy Village wind frogs) with all 4 players wearing cloaks/capes which means they were all reborn.

Also, people say items break, is that no matter what level you fight or is it because after RB you're so strong that people go beyond the 19+ level range?

Look at what kinda pets these rb people are training then this will tell you what they are doing. Most are more then likely training a ride pet (flower) or a debuff/buff burst pet.

And items break at any monster above the 19 level range from you no matter what lvl you are.

I will look at the pets the RB players are bursting with, I remember seeing 4 cows one day, but don't remember what bursting group I saw that with.

I understand the 19 levels above rule for non reborn, but after reborn, does that rule change. Will equiptment break if you fight things within the range of that 19 levels?

Just becuase one of the bursters has the rb sign next to thier name doesnt automatically mean everyone in the team is rb, you have to look at the other members. The 19 level rule is in effect no matter what you are, rb or not, if you fight mobs higher then 19 to your level eqs will break

Often said by our lovely Cupid that stops us from talking in local for clearly MORE THAN 8 SECONDS =.= .....
He said,
If you are reborn, your level you are will be used as the reference,
meaning, you rb at 180,
You're gonna be lvl 81 rb,
They use that as the reference for fighing mobs, So no within the lvl 19 range, your eq wont break,
Im not sure about instances, i expect not because
the only place they dont use that level reference, is in instances...
So Im not sure if they break there, but sorry,
Off topic xD

This thread, which is mine, is over 2 years old.
You can prob use the system option of spawn point and go to starters beach.
