I used to do this in another game, but I only do it for the server I am active on. This helps even out prices and makes buyers & sellers more aware of the going rate & Speculative forces. Which you may choose to heed or ignore. I've known people who've looked at my price list, shrugged and sold a piece of treasure for millions more than I had valued it at. I've also known buyers who have looked at my price lists and gone ahead with purchasing something at more than double my listed prices, usually because they wanted to complete a set, and didn't want to wait for a med-low priced seller.
So I would say it all depends on what you want to do, and who you want to sell your goods to.
