I wanna say before anything that this topic is for me specifically. If you want to answer one of my questions that would be great but if you can't answer its fine just answer the ones you can or just don't answer if you don't know any of them. I don't wanna force people to help me, just post if you want to.

Right now I need to decide how my characters are going to progress.
My team is good and I'm planning on trying CP this Sunday.
But now I wonder if that's all my team is good for...doing events like 15r, NT, CP and small quests like RB...I can't believe that is what my team is for. I can understand since they're low leveled but I wanna know a few things for this:

1) First, most important question, how beneficial/profitable is it to sell DS/JS?

If the above question's answer is not profitable just ignore all the other questions that have anything to do with DS or JS and just tell me why its not profitable.

2) How long does it typically take to get from RB LV 81 to RB LV 120 if I train every weekend and did the 15r challenge every week?
Also, is it better to train alone for faster exp gain or train with a team since that can provide more exp?

3) At what level should I start training at sharks rather than at rome and why is it better at sharks?

4) Should I go with a high speed wind lv 181 with spd ring, attack pestle and decent atk or an earth/water tank with around 4k hp and attack pestle to take away SP in DS/JS?

5) What spd should your total team spd be if you wanna go first in DS or JS?

6) Which pet would you consider better for DS and JS:
Xoalan with atleast 3k-4k hp and 1.5k mana and about 500 spd?
or ShaSha with atleast 2.5k-3k hp, 1.2k mana and about 275 int? (for sealing purposes)

7) Would only using pets to attack and just let the characters seal and provide support all the rest of the time a good strategy for DS/JS?

8) if the above answer for Q7 is yes, how much hp should they have and how much damage should they do?

To my knowledge I'll answer some of these. Take note that I'm answering these from my own experience and knowledge so it will perhaps differ from what others will say. You also do not need to follow these if you do not want to.

1 -
It depends on your server. Since this game is not as active as it once was there are not many customers and also since newer players do not have the benefits that older player have some players choose to be helpful and give them a lower price. You can always still put "S> DS, RB, JS" etc... in your nickname so other can see that you are a seller. Also keep an eye out on world to see who buys. Make certain that you are able to do it and are confident in being able to pull the quest off first before you think of selling it.

Also have to take into consideration that some people will look at your level and may not want your help some will even have a rude way of showing it. Unless you are well known In the game and around your server.

RANT

Spoiler:

It has happened to me more than once where my team is busy training and I have online my 1 non rb wind she has a 100+ RB Fred and believe it or not I have done her GS solo with just her and her Fred. There would be people spamming world asking for help with GS for hours. So me being me I feel sorry for them and try to help. They look at her element and lvl and kick her from team and go back to spamming. Once a girl even told me if I want to help her I should stop my main team and come with my fire instead. when I told her sorry can't stop team but I can do just fine with this 1 chara. they still kicked me. I just laugh at them every time this happens because they don't know what I can do and I can't persuade them. You will meet people like that so you just have to let it go and once in a while you will get someone who accepts your help.

I notice they tend to come when you show them your are 120 or 150+ rb. It's sad really. Don't see what lvl or element has to do with anything if you are able to complete a quest.

2a -
I think it should take somewhere between 2-4 months

Non stop online, unless there is maintenance or your need to turn off your computer to give it a break. Also if you use pots and what pots you use. You can also get 55k exp daily from instance; Sealed, Blue, Copper, Fiery. That may help as well. EXP will slow down the higher you get since the exp bar gets longer. By the time you are 110+ it will take about 1 week per lvl. Also if you have pots use it every weekend. Pots are more effective on double exp days. So do the instance that give you pots. Besides 15 round you can also do NT for chances to get pots and capsules from eggs. CP will also give you a 4x. Best to only do it on the weekend so you save yourself stars and not do it on the weekday. Registration vouchers are free from NT and Q&A

2b -
Reason you train in groups is because more damage means more exp and most important of all your water can auto heal and revive. Unless you have the money or resources to cook food everyday to sustain a single player then go right ahead. But I see no reason to train alone when you have a water you can use. Water obviously need an e-remote. So if you do not have an e-remote or even a water then sure go ahead and train alone. Also only time I would think you should train alone is if you are at Training Island.

3 -
Reason why most people train is Rome; Not everyone has access to sharks and getting the key is just about as hard as getting FB. Its easier than FB but harder than DS.

You can train at sharks at any lvl as long as you have the HP. Best to have 900 (lowest) or 1200 HP at least so you do not spawn. Also take into consideration that if all 4 sharks combo on you its likely to be 1200 to 1600 hp damage. The more defence and hp you have the less damage you take. Sharks are better because they are highest lvl in game (at least until an update that creates even higher mobs). Obviously higher the mob more exp. Would you train at chickens with your 100+ team?

If you want to train with gear on you will need to be lvl 132.
At Rome gear is wear able at lvl 106.
There is also the seahorse area above sharks, the gear is wearable at 121.
The stingray area before the shark door, gear Is wear able at 120 be careful cause sometimes a random shark appears.

4 -
Earths are usually better when it comes to quests like DS and JS and even CP that reason being because of their stonewall. If you happen to have their FS that's even better. It shields you 50% in both physical and magical damage.

Wind helps if they are knights with knight JS to help anti-seal. If you have a pestle that's good too its your money. But I must say this DO NOT waste money buying Attack Pestle. THEY ARE USELESS and A WASTE OF MONEY. (I learned that the hard way) You will constantly need to repair it over time. They are like guns they break no matter what you do. I heard somewhere that you get 250 pokes with it. I'm not entirely sure, but with me when I used it 2 times it was already at useable. Either way its just useless so spend your money on other things. Maybe potatoes are cheaper but you can get some free in game from quests.

Also note that Attack Pestle has nothing to do with how much your attack is its about how much scrolls they have in them. The higher grade it is the more they take off. Wasting strong scrolls on something that's already useless is just stupidity. Its like using scrolls on pet's friendship brooches when all it does it gives you 10hp per upgrade. USELESS! (but using scroll can repair an item just though I'd point that out)

5 -
DS mob speed
2.2k soldiers
4.2k dragons
1.2k guards

JS mob speed
1.2k soldiers
3k dragons

Always best to be an extra +10 or even a +100 above to guarantee out speeding

6 -
Use any pet you want I say as long as they are useful. Do they help me seal? Do they help me with damage? Are they able to give me an extra hand with healing or defence? etc...
Useless pets are; Do they die after 1 or 2 hits? are they just there to be a meat shield? etc...

So if you have a pet you think that can help you seal, heal, use feathers, shield, stone wall, attack, w/e then use is. So fast answer; yes, pets like shasha, lan, qlaya even a monkey with 5k hp is useful as long as they can help you. If you have the money and can pill out pets like Fred to do mega damage then use it too. After all why waste money on pet food if your pet will just be sitting at the side drinking lemonade.

7 -
Do your pets do more damage than you the player? Then go right ahead and do so if you think that will help you. If you happen to have characters that are just as damaging I see no reason why only your pet should be the attackers often goes faster if you attack too.

If you have characters like waters and earths mages that mostly only seals then I think its better to have damager pets on them. And if you have damagers like fires then the choice is yours what type of pets you use; pets that help seal or pets that help damage if you hotfire them. (so attackers are often best paired with defence pets and defenders are best pairs with attack pets)

8 -
2k+ MATK / ATK
3k+ HP

So unless you plan to pill them out and spend money on food and brooch then go ahead.

Pets are just as useful even without pet food if you have a brooch and good gear. If you have no brooch then make sure they have good build and gear. So when lvling them make sure you sort them out at lvl 20 before they add stats to the wrong area. Some good pets who are able to do fine damage without food and brooch can be victoria, fred, clive, hayate, roca and maybe even sam, kanako or Maggie.

I know its a lot to read but I hope these responses would be of use to you. wow.. took me 2 hours to write this o.O I read your question at 5:52 and its already 8:16pm (had to spell check too)

Considering that the info in your signature is accurate:
1) First, most important question, how beneficial/profitable is it to sell DS/JS?
I'd say in Taurus, not so much. You'd probably get more money by compounding. Also, selling quests are better when you can do it easily, at your level it wouldn't be so easy unless you got fed pets.

Not sure exactly how long, you should also try to do the instances that give pots everyday. It's better to train with a team, the hits from monsters will be distributed, no one will need to use a lot of food. Also good to use the spd trick to make the char or pet with highest speed to get more exp.

3) At what level should I start training at sharks rather than at rome and why is it better at sharks?
Depends, I mostly put my chars there when they can take the hits, I prefer sharks cause of the food they provide that can be cooked.

4) Should I go with a high speed wind lv 181 with spd ring, attack pestle and decent atk or an earth/water tank with around 4k hp and attack pestle to take away SP in DS/JS?
If you need to take away sp in ds/js that badly, then you shouldnt sell it. I'd use potatoes if your just getting the quest for your own chars, for selling would be a pain.

5) What spd should your total team spd be if you wanna go first in DS or JS?
I dont remember lol

6) Which pet would you consider better for DS and JS:
Xoalan with atleast 3k-4k hp and 1.5k mana and about 500 spd?
or ShaSha with atleast 2.5k-3k hp, 1.2k mana and about 275 int? (for sealing purposes)
Not Shasha for sure, she wont seal much. I would maybe use Xao to stonewall, but make sure she is not breaking equips or losing too much amity.

7) Would only using pets to attack and just let the characters seal and provide support all the rest of the time a good strategy for DS/JS?
If your pets have over 2k atk/matk atleast, using brooches and equips, but only if those wont break, otherwise no.

8) if the above answer for Q7 is yes, how much hp should they have and how much damage should they do?
I guess the hp wont matter if they are walled/feathered. And the rest i said already, hope it helps a bit.

I can't call them crazy, I said that anyone who "wants" to answer can.
Anyways...the information provided here definitely gave me some answers I was looking for. Looks like I change my mind about ds/js I guess. I can atleast do rb with no problems so I guess I could try and sell that but its pretty easy anyone can do it. I also thought that the training from 81 to 120 wouldve taken atleast 6 moths or 8 months. Only 4 months if I leave on everyday and do all the events and instances? I guess the hard part comes when I reach 120 and want 140 next. But this game is really just to waste my time before I go to college. So I see no point in overspending for DS/JS questing. I really would like to do them myself so ill try at 120 and ill just use potatos instead. Im mostly excited for the CP attempt tomorrow. I have a 909 spd earthso itll be fine.

I appreciate the great answers Kojika and Tali.
BTW: Tali...aren't you GameGuts?

Well you can always change your mind back after 120 or before if you feel confident. Either way good luck =3

and yes the first few lvl never take long it goes by fast. But the higher you get the slower it becomes -.- some days you feel like 2-3 weeks has gone by and you still haven't gotten 1 lvl. With me now its like 1 month per lvl. I get like 400 exp from sharks and that's with 3x pots on the weekends (about 170 on weekdays). I seem to heavily rely on 15round for majority of my exp from capsules. Sad thing is I don't always log in every Fridays to do 15round so missing that one or two weeks is like uuuuuggggee takes longer.
My sister Is 180+ and it takes her about 2-3 months to get just 1 lvl. She would have already been done but she pretty much quit now and moved on to another game.

Aniiiiiways~ much luck tomorrow at CP. Its been a while since I myself have done it I usually always sleep in on Sundays and then later after I wake up I get lazy never in the mood to log my full team so never bother to go. lol

tip; First 6 floor are easy and fast but after you get to the 7th floor (Scorpio) and further on, use your earth to stone wall your characters and use your Lan to stone wall your pets. one another pet (like Shasha maybe other than sealing) use her to keep their sp replenished in case they run out while walling, be wary of magic mobs.

tip; having FB helps a lot on the human floors.

I believe you'll do great in CP :D Maybe at 120 with a nice earth with enough int and some char with FB you'll be able to do JS without even draining sp, not sure about DS.
And yes I'm running gamesguts and wlolabs currently.

Thanks you guys. I finished CP in about 2 hours and 30 mins and the most difficult fight was definitely the last one. I had no trouble with pisces since my water and earth were both +800 spd, but dam...those pisces bosses hit dam hard. I used sam for all 12 rounds and then Xoalan for the last battle. I cannot tell you how much she helped with the walling. The FB on my earth also helped out a ton when it came to dealing with the freakin Fighters and Athena.

However...after everything was done, the only thing that I got from the box was 4 twin rings. I was ok with it on my WaterWizX since he got a good one to put on Shasha but like seriously...All 4 of my characters got twin rings...is this the same with everyone?

Congrats and Yes, that's why I pretty much get lazy each time I think of logging to do CP I recall all the horrible stuff you get.

ONLY good items you get are the moon wand, dragon spear and SS but those are rare, especially the SS so the good thing about getting on all 4 is that when you do get SS you will get 4.

Mean while you have to deal with luck cause you will mostly get silver rings, green rings or bows.

aniways~ Grats again at CP.

Wait is that how it works in CP? whatever you get for your first character, you get the same stuff for the rest? Wow that sucks...luck is gonna be my worst enemy.

I do however wanna say that I would never have been able to do CP or any other hard quests easily without my Earth Wit KanaZaki. She has become way more useful than my water wit. I swear, if there was an instance where 9/12 and only 3 of them can enter. I enter my Sakuri, FlameBrag and then KanaZaki, never WaterWizX. She's been the best support I've had so far. I love earth wits, why didn't I ever use them before? (rhetorical question)

lol, yea that's how it is.

when you first started the game everyone was made to believe that the only useful characters/class were Water and fire and that winds and earth are useless. Now the most loved and most used in the game are now earths and winds. Fire is still seen as best for attacking but now waters seems to be obsolete unless they are attackers on just used for specifically for training aka human portable fridge.

Rather sad I think.

Me personally I have always loved and will for ever love wind. In all and every game I ever play I will always choose wind or electric types. If there is none then I may choose a summoner or thief class. lately I've been going for healer types because I like to try and help or heal others players. It's something I'd gotten used to since playing games with my ex so it kindda stuck with me.

I think water and fire classes are to over used. I like to stay in the minority and then you are shocked later to find out just how useful the minority classes are. muhhahah we soon will rise to rule the worlddddz kyakakakaka! *cough avoids eye contact and runs away*

Ya im kinda like you Kojika. I like the minority classes cuz they seem more special since not many use them. I always choose fire or wind, never liked water or earth all that much until I found out how useful they were. In other games I would most likely choose Assassin class and stick on it as my main. A little info for other people right now, my flamebrag was and still is my main but he was a speedy fire killer before he was an all assist fire knight.
