Alchemy Book 1 is said to be obtained by lvl 60+ mobs but actually should be lvl 50+ be cause my alt has received 2 book 1's from starfish on Oslya. Took 3 days but got tehm from lvl 54 mob. Jus thot i would point that out. I not sure if anyone else has gotten any from starfish on Oslya but let me know if u have cause maybe somone sent them to me, idk why someone would but crazy things have happened on this game before.^_^

i think it depends on what mobs too.because back in me nub days i trained on lvl 51 vultures and i never got a book

It is a matter of luck, coz mostly ppl lvl with raptors which is lv60+. Thanks for the info. =)

they say korea, beetles give a good ratio of books.
not sure tho. i just buy b1's

few others also talked abt getting book 1 from lvl 54 mobs in osyla some weeks ago in forum, anyways as MHong said lvl 60+ for book 1 is just a "general" way of saying it, since its the most common way

but in my opinion better keep alchemy book description as as lvl 60+ since there are many other lvl 50+ mobs in several other locations of game(eg korea,..) but we dont see people talking abt book 1 drops from those locations ,so i guess its osyla star fishes are a special case

if we change description to lvl 50+ mobs then more people may start complaining and say that they never get books from fighting 50+ mobs xD

If get bk1 from lv50+ mobs, lv50+:true, lv60+:true
Getting alchemy books depend on luck too, less ppl lvl at lv50+ mobs place and never get bk1 cant say it do not drop, but it is low drop rate.

Same with 100% compound formula,
Even success 50 out of 50, fail: not sure, 100% sucess: true
Same for this case except got ppl fail, then only it prove it is not 100%, but no/less ppl say they fail and said it is low chance of success rate.

did you auto walk? because the drowcrusher appears randomly in osyla if you auto walk

I got close to 10 bk1s while killing the starfish on Osyla for Devil Spar Pieces (auto walking by the perpetual jellyfish thing)

Oh~~ Actually, I've gotten many bk1s while training pets on the lvl 50-58 mobs in the castle :D

It does show a sequence if bk1:bk2:bk3 drop by mobs lv 50:70:90.

training area gives good drop rate. ^_^

I looted two Alchemy I books when I was training with the Sheep and Vultures on South Island last summer. Now I keep one of each Alchemy books on all of my characters all of the time. That way I can always loot one even if my inventory is full from remoting overnight.

Yes dotnet I understand what ur saying so yes we will keep 60+ mobs for bk1. Plus i have trained at beetles in Bangkok for a week and never got a book so could be a special thing with starfish.

Thorith i was sitting cause it was my earth mage training her elin til lvl 42.

I know i need to train with 90+ mobs to get me some bk 3's for higher equips!
