Hi guys, I was trying to make heavy spear, my formula was:
Rank 28 Steel + Rank 28 gold + rank 28 iron + book 4
This formula is a +7 one, and guess what i get as result? A Dusk war halberd (rank 29 gold/iron). My alchemy is super lvl 17, i think that i should get back steel base, not gold.
Anyone have any idea about this?

i'm going to take a guess here and say you did;
steel armour/iron hachet, kunlun/gold rip and iron trident yea?

can you confirm that these were what you used, or others?

cause unless you used a rank 27 or lower steel or accidently put gold fisrt then i can't explain any other way this could have happened. so can you remember exacttly what it was that you did when you press the synthesis button? and do you remember double checking that each item were in order?

I ady forgot the name of the eqs XD after i checked it on wlodb I think its like this:

Knight war boots (rank 29) ( i thought it's rank was 28....)
Golden iron boots (rank 28)
Lock armor (rank 28)

And yes I did triple check it XD

:\ well it makes no sence at all, even more if the base was infact higher... also we can't confirm 100% that those were what you used since you yourself said you forgot...

i'm sorry you lost your items but i can't really say for sure what happened. not sure if any other alchemists are awake right now to say either but i guess you can wait and see if anyone else takes a look at your post and give their ideas... as for mine, i see you did nothing wrong here so you should not have gotten back a gold based item. I cannot tell what it was that you did for sure, unless you used a lower base or missed an item in the equation.

Maybe you accidently making a mistake.

yea i think so too. for example KWB and LKB looks the same so perhaps you had a LKB in hand from your other steel compounds and confused and LKB with KWB... its possible. look and see if you may perhaps still have the KWB around.
