Im really struggling to find alchamey books especially book 1 i was wondering where they are from, then i read in items here that they are dropped by monsters lvl 80+ or 90+, i mean seriously is this right because i dont see it in the drops list in the monster section. Also i know the books are available from item mall but im worried that if i buy and it doesn't work i've wasted real cash due to us compounders knowing how addictive it can be, im not sure what a good price on a book is i have seen book3 going for 34k in libra servers so if some could also give me a guide price on the books that would be great aswell.

book1 = 10k-15k
book2 = 20k-25k
book3 = 30k-40k

May i ask how long that took because i have been training there for 4 hours just to try and get dragon tooth and not had 1 :-(

Mate, book drops are very rare. My water has been fighting lvl 80 monsters for close to a week without a book2 drop. I know you can get them because I have gotten 4 book2s from these same mobs a while ago... it's just a very low chance.

i heard that you only get 1 book drop per week! so if you get say a book 1 drop on monday the next time you can get another book drop is a week from then, this is only what i heard by word of mouth, not tested by me! XD

u can get books if ur just lucky xD sometimes there r about a week with no books , (thats rare), but most of the time i get book drops in every 2 days or when lucky everyday also xD

i train in south pole, since im lazy to burst manual xD

best way to get books is make alts with similar speeds to train on higher level mobs. If you have a team of 4 characters and 4 pets able to comb then when yo get that lucky book drop you can get as many as 8 books!

Book drops are rare like has been said. I've only found about 5 or 6 books total when I was fighting raptors.

If your going to make alts solely for book collecting I'd recommend very high agi and con and some str to add to bow power. AGI because the mobs are less likely to combo and you go allways go first (unless you buy -40 or so weights to combo better with your pets, although try to get high AGI monster pets as human pets tend to be very slow) and con for more obvious reasons.

thanks so much for all the info, but 1 more question....
If you say its that rare how can u get 4 books in 1 week that doesnt sound to rare to me or are u talking like 8hrs plus battling each time?

The alt I was talking about is my rebirthed water priest. It spends almost 24/7 training in the castle.... long long periods, books are rare.

and it also helps to have a leaf on hand that way thats the only money your actually spending and oyu get 2x drops with them so if you are lucky to get a book...you will not only get one but 2 books ^_^ well thats what i do atleast !
