doEs anyone HAS the SAME PROBLEM as me? or just me?....

this MORNING i was running slow with 5 wendows open for th whole nyt.. so when i wake up i RESTART my computer.. when i turn it BACK ON.. and tryna LOG IN....

THE GAMING WENDOW is not WORKING..... WHEN i chose WHAT SERVER i wnt THE LITTLE (DOT) is BLACK instead of GREEN/YELLOW/RED....

and when i point my cursor on it it says NOT CONNECTED... OR WHEN i PRESS IT THE MESSAGE says:: CONNECTIN FAILED...... WHAT IS GOING ON:(?

that never happen on me ONLY on MAINTENANce day BUT i dnt think theres maintenance TODAY!!!!

MY INTERNET CONNECTION are fine... EVERYTHING IS KOO!!!

CAN ANYBODY HELP ME?/?????????///???

Im using VISTA lappy...

sounds like you might be running an old version. try downloading any updates from the site manually.

can i delette the GAME and RE DOWNLAOD it?... i mean i really dnt know how tO DELETE the PROGRAMS ON VISTA... IS RE DOWNLAODING a GOOD idea or NOT?

on vista you can remove the program from control panel->programs.

i'm not really sure if reinstalling it will help or not. i had the problem with the black dot the other day but that's when my client wasn't up to date.

what did u do? did u just download the new patch and thats it?

Ive been having trouble all day with the connection.I keep getting booted at the most inoportune times and my friend's are also having trouble.

Actually, I think there is a simple explanation.

Your connection to the WL server is poor. Try this: when you see a black dot, wait several seconds till you give up. If the connection is there but not that bad, it should turn e.g. yellow in a few seconds. Then you can proceed.

Otherwise, it does happen that the WL server is "down" to you and you can only try again at a later time.

I have experienced what you did several times and it is nothing to do with clients or their versions.

i'm having similar problems, I run a team and some alts (only sit manufucturing), but lately some of the alts disconnect randomly (connection failed), if I log them back in, then another alts got dc. it's driving me mad >.< I'm tired logging in like every 10 minutes >.<

I think there's serious connection problem with their latest wlo client or their server??? >.<

Sorry to read it doesn't work out, pimpin. Assuming your internet is up, running and fast (a simple test would be to surf around a few sites on the internet), then it is the connection to WL server.

Waiting 10 min is way too long. I have waited at most 5 secs thereabout. I will see the dot black then yellow. I used to be seeing green and yellow immediately. But recently, I almost always have to wait 1 or 2 secs. So I think if you don't get a yellow or green within 10 secs, try restarting your computer and/or your client. If it still doesn't work, try again another time (it will really spoil your game experience if this happens :<).

I am assuming it is nothing to do with your firewall settings (a simple test would be to shut down your firewall completely and see if there is WL connection) and that you did not do anything and your client somehow just stops connecting.

PS.: When you start a fresh client, you have to press a few next or proceed or start, etc buttons... I suggest you always wait a few seconds till all the images load before pressing any button. I find that this helps prevent the "black screen" (if you have encountered this) and possibly the black dot problem.

I KNOW now whats the MAIN problem.. its was something crazy going with my main ADMINISTRATOR.. so
what i did was :

I create a NEW LOG in USER for my lappy then PUT AS ADMINISTRATOR...

then CHADA!!!!
when i open my WLO...
it works^^

first make sure u enter the game from ( main ) icon not (alogin )
if didnt work , delete the game and install it again , if didnt work contact igg , if didnt work hard luck man...

I had alot of problems on my old pentium 4, the screen would literally look like it was frozen but 2 minutes later I was in battle, still very frozen, and extremely laggy. But now on my new core 2 quad 6600 and 4 GB ram I don't have that problem and only time connection fails on me is when I try to log in twice. So I'm guessing it might be a hardware issue.
