seems this is getting off topic from the post but.... May I add a comment?

hidden in spoiler.

Spoiler:
Well I'll say that yes it's possible for sellers to be scammed you see it quite often. There has also been a few people posting here about being scammed as buyers. Well its the same for sellers) Some people may say they will pay after seeing results or they want to only get to 100 or 150 and then they change the password on you because maybe a friend suggest they lvl them for free.

Often this happens because they may lie to their friend saying. "I gave so and so a friendship brooch or 10 SS, and they only got my characters to 'insert lvl here' I dunno what to doooo" *cries a croc river*. SO then people in their guild or friend list MAY feel sorry for them and burst them free. Mean while they have not even paid you yet.

There may also be a few people who will "lvl hop" as I call it. They get one person to get them to X lvl. Meet another person might promise them something if they get them to XX lvl and then repeat the same promise to another person to get them to XXX lvl. etc etc etc.

There was one time a couple years ago when my sister was still serious about playing. A guy we both knew lied and said his accounts got hacked ALL of them, so he lost everything. My sister feeling sorry for him said she would burst him 4 new characters (She even gave him a full killer set since she opens a lot of boxes and find parts all the time. She mounted a few good spars she had lying around. She always does that to people in world chat giving away her 24s or 28s for free). She got him DS, RB and JS as well one chara she got FB on the chara he planned to use as his main.

One or two character was completed and by a miracle the two after he started to use them had IMs like his first charters. She though maybe he bought them but he said he was to poor to afford IMS, so how did he get those items?

Later she found out that his characters in act were not hacked. He just rebirthed them all at 100 so they had crappy capes. So he wanted higher capes and wanted 180 characters. That was his reason.

She dumped his other characters, deleted him from her friend list. Kicked him from guild and blocked him. He started to ask me to finish lvling him I told him no. After a few week I felt sorry for him I guess. So I lent him a couple weights and I guess I'm and idiot because he stopped talking to me and refused to give them back. I ended up getting them back though. I confined in a friend that I was tricked and lost a couple weight to xxx person. He said that person was in their guild and they happened to be good friends and he would get the weights back for me. He told the guy he had lent the weights to me and the reason why I was so worried and wanted the weights back was because they never belonged to me but were his. Now he needs to burst and doesn't have the weights so could the guy return them. The guy gave my fried the weights and my friend gave the weights back to me. In the end the guy found out I had them and noticed he was tricked. He then made up some sob story and said he was going to return them he just needed more time and could he have them back so he could get his characters to 180. I laughed said no way I'm not going to fall for that. After that I too deleted him from my friend list. -.- *sigh* (in the end he returned to using his old rb'd at 100 characters since they were higher)

So yea.. its possible for sellers or even kind people just helping you for free to be scammed.
