well as i read the comments and see how people say theres issues also gotta figure in the stats u get per level also change due to the type of character they use cuz of the beginning bonuses they give like how the new pirate looking guy gives +1 in STR,CON, and INT so if another character gives +1 STR and +2 CON the stats wont be the same as the other character :P
