train him with other chars within spd range. i suggest using rbs or any high level with weights. this will make this easier, 1 team poke is easy kill. more chars in battle, the highest survival rate for your char. on much tougher level like when you clive hits 50+ or 80+, you can use water for heal with eremote or earth for walling, or spam use of training island with team.
