Lemme just clarify a few things.

I've spoken with VIP Live Support prior to this. According to Vince, they are currently working on the next update package which they hope to announce by October. And as far as where the updates originate from, Taiwan are the original creators of the game and the source of all updates, which would essentially be wl.chinesegamer.net

Our Item Mall works quite differently than the Item Mall in the other versions. For example, if you would like to add Pet Food in other versions, you would buy an IM Pack to recieve 1 random Pet Food, then compound it with another Pet Food in the hopes of recieving the one you want. Unlike those versions, ours is designed to create profit, which is what has and will keep this game surviving better than all the rest.

You can also tell which IM items are originally "meant" to be sold in the Item Mall, and which are not. Some items have highly polished images, while others don't. It's pretty obvious IGG added things to our Item Mall that the other versions don't sell in theirs. Who can blame them? Fairy Spar & 26% Bomb Diamond, for example, are great sellers. Profit-wise, it makes complete sense. If the other versions did the same, they might not be closing their servers.

Either way, nothing lasts forever, so no sense in worrying over "what could happen." No one knows. Everyone was concerned about our version when the Thailand Version shut down their servers, yet our game is still alive 1 year later. And I'm sure it will be around for years to come.

(Btw. Our last update wasn't just equipment, it was also Sam & Victoria's Quests and the ability to Rebirth them.)

On a side note, if you read the Terms of Service, you'll know IGG isn't obligated to release updates or meet anyones expectations. Their only responsibility is to provide the game as it is. Which, in that respect, they're doing a great job, simply because the game they host is still here for everyone to play, while others really just can't say the same, so instead of worrying about it, Play it. Cuz I'm sure everyone who plays the Japanese Version, even the ones who will play til the day the servers shut down, are very disappointed that this is happening, and wish they could have just 1 more day. 1 more hour. 1 more minute with their characters and surroundings.
