It's true, beating skills attack more than 1 target and usually don't combo with other skills. The Fire Combo Beating skill is rather a special case because it can combo with Hagendis Hit and attacks only 1 target.
I see others use Fire Stone Hit as well for fire mages. It's up to you. (:
