dotnet, you can still play WLO and get things done in real life. Just give your self certain times you can play, and keep a list of stuff in real life that you want to accomplish.

I came to WLO from World of Warcraft where I spent easily 30-50hrs a week. WLO is much better. I can setup my chars to remote / fish and then get things done around the house, run errands, exercise, and so on. :)

Granted, you won't be able to be quite as socialable. Same issue I'm always working with. I like to socialize and make friends with people in the game, but at the same time I'm always trying avoid becoming too close because then I'll end up spending too much time playing and not getting anyting done in real life.
