yup once a pet dies it's dead o.o so there is no need to have to "kill" it again. just becareful to not dismiss it or have it run on low amity cause you'll need to pay the stars over and over and over again.

doesn't matter what lvl you kill it at be it 1, 10, 100 or 180. (as far as we know in our version) it doesn't affect how they rebirth

would suck if you killed fred and he runs or you dismiss him to try and get more of his swords cause he needs 10 stars. so best to wait till you are certian you want to kill the pet that you plan to use and keep.

rebirth just means they get a new temp soul for them to use. but since its not their soul and its a borrowed one it means that if you dismiss them or they run you will also need to pay those stars over again to get them back. so NEVER dismiss and always becareful of amity of a pet thats already rebirthed. their weapon is non-breakable so there should be no reason to have to dismiss them to get a new one.
