Earth Aurora Clothes + Earth Aurora Bracers = Rough Nylon

I used superior alchemy..minimum fail I thought was supposed to be -7 but I used to rank 25 items and got a rank 4 item...so is rough nylon what you get when you utterly fail a nylon compound?
