I have a few suggestion:

1. I thought steamed bun was a material you get if compounding failed too, right?

2. you can say that you get common stone, if the base of result from compound is metal/mineral and failed.
And the same for straw mushroom, except if you compound grass/wood together and failed.
and for steamed bun, I think it is food + food and failed.

I am not very experienced, so please correct me if I am wrong
