Shelves are similar to the Coin Machine in how they allow you to sell items in your tent without having to open a stall. Shelves hold 1-2 items (a stack counts as one item) and the items for sale remain locked in your inventory. Food shelves hold up to 10 stacks of food (5 stacks in each slot). For example, you can put 5 stacks of Boiled Rice in one slot on the food shelf, but you cannot put 1 stack of Boiled Rice and one stack of Boiled Tuna in the same slot. The food does not stay in your inventory once it is placed on the food shelf. All items placed on the shelves or food shelf must be tradeable.
