I agree with Andreyos, compounding could be much more cheaper especially if you got enough luck for not failing :P I made Lord Gown for about 20k gold xD I bought only couple raw materials, because i got books from drops and some instance items (the ones from egyptian priest intrygue instance are pretty nice) :P
