yea, there isn't any functionality yet to mute a user and cleaning up the chat line by line takes some time. i don't know if we should worry about it too much since like icefield said the chat will eventually scroll off. if a user continues to spam in the chat i can always ban by ip address if it gets out of hand.

for now the most important thing is to keep spam out of the forums. i have been moderating and cleaning up spam/bad posts.
