usual method i use to make gray steel bracer is

titanium sword + black jade *primary alchemy ,

out of abt 10 or 8 titanium swords probably u can get about 4 gray steel bracer, other titanium swords go back to dark helmet,defensive armor,wolf bracer, or the sweet common stone teheheee xD

main use of gray steel bracer for me is to compound it with steel cuff(R24 iron ) to make bluish helmet ,which can be used to make higher rank iron items and making golden iron boot

try titanium sword + black jade + titanium sword, you'll have a far higher success rate (assuming you use superior alchemy), my ultimate goal with titaniums is to make black wands as they are handy for the level 60+ titanium equipments.
