I'm kinda old at since I haven't touch my WLO accounts for over a year now, but I don't think much has changed, considering this is wlo...

If you're looking to make an all-around team, I recommend the most basic of team set ups: Earth Wit, Water Wit, Fire Killer and Fire Wit/2nd Fire Killer. I'll also include pets if you'd like to consider getting some pets for your units.

The Earth Wit is your primary sealer with terrification and protection with Stonewall they usually have high amounts of hp and MATK to also act as a secondary damage dealer should a water unit be too much for your fires to handle. You should also try to have a decent amount of spd to outpace the enemy and cast spells first. Try your best to get Cuss for him but its not necessary if you get it on your water wit, its more of an extra skill but its always good to have but you'll definitely want FS on this unit first if you can get it so you can do the harder quests. I say this is a unit that you would most likely want a pet on, even if its not fed, it'll still help somewhat.
Pets: Preferably pets that also do sealing or provide protection like Xoalan, Shasha, Qlaya, but you can also get damage dealer pets that counter your weakness - wind - so pets like Roca or Fred.

The Water Wit is going to be your team's support. Doing things like unsealing, unpoisoning, and healing and reviving teammates with a combination of sealing using freeze and sleep. They typically have higher matk to land seals and be a tertiary damage dealer, meaning attacking is the last thing you want your water to do. They are consider the 2nd tank of the team next to your earth wit with a considerable amount of Sp to use a lot of costly skills. This is also the unit that you'll want Cuss for since he is the support. Most of the time he'll just be doing cuss and sleep/freeze on enemies for your fire wit and killer so they can kill faster.
Pets: Preferably pets that do sealing and healing work great like Shasha, Qlaya, Angela, and Venus but if you feel that the sealing is fine with just the water wit and earth wit then take an extra damage dealer pet to kill enemies faster like Fred, Niss(beast when you feed her right), and I think Sam or Victoria are great too.

The Fire Killer is probably the most important unit of the group since he will be the one to kill enemies and overall win the match for you before your enemies can kill you. Of course you can let your other units fight but that'll take forever when your facing enemies with over 30k hp. They are usually VERY high in atk but are easily killed if not protected since most points are poured into str and only what is needed is put into con. They also are quite slow and are most often the last to make a move of the group. You only ever need 4 spd to get Hagendis skill and that's just so you can use it for bursting, until you get your DS and JS of course. Use DS for almost all enemies except water and just use JS for water, simple.
Pets: Preferably pets that can also deal damage and match the spd so you can combo together for that extra damage multiplier. units like Fred, Roca, Niss(again pretty beast when fed, I've found so much use for mine) and even Athena.

The Fire Wit is going to be an extra damage dealer but there is a reason for that. If you're facing a high level, 50k hp monster that is resistant to atk, then its always best to have a mage who can penetrate that def. There is also the fact that there are many high level fights where the enemy will use stone wall which can completely nullify the damage from your Fire Killer so that's where the Fire Wit can come in and deal damage from there. They have a lot of matk with little spd and little def. Most often they have 0 spd since damage dealers typically go last so support can setup before they attack to maximize the damage output. Mana is also quite low, main point being they have a lot of matk for damage. Quite vulnerable but very effective.
Pets: again, Preferably pets that do damage like niss, roca, fred, and athena but you can always have a unit that helps with elemental weakness like Elin, Magellan, or xoalan.

Of course if you have a good damage dealer mage pet then you won't need a fire mage and you can just get another fire killer. Same setup as the first one and your pets can preferably be another mage damage dealer to add in more magic damage.

This is the basic all-around team setup that works for everyone. Its simple, easy to follow, and has the best results so far. Its a steady, balanced team where every member specializes in a role and combines their talents to be effective together. Though the flaw is that most of the time they are weak without each other but of course you'll always stick them in a team together so its fine.

Hope this helped you and if you need a more specific team I can give you another suggestion. Good luck.
