For the answer why fds is more expensive:
FDS is more expensive than DRS on the following reasons:
*Cause of it's materials needed to work. Like making Polar Ultima, you'll always make Rank 40 EQS (LVL80) to make Polar Ultima, but it is +4 which means 25% success to superior alchemy (that's why they cost 8ss in aries), While fds is +2 which is 95% making it cheaper.
* Bec of its design. Cool frozen blue.
* Bec of its prevention, that means, when you attack, your enemy will never ever counter attack.
