I just want to know HOW we know the Shot Put is made of lead.

I mean, I haven't heard of anyone crazy enough to compound the dang thing since it is well known to be rare item. In fact, seeing it on this site was the first indication that it was good for anything besides a staple of bursting. You really need two to make the special equipment?

In any case, I don't have any empirical sense as to why it would be classified as lead. I guess if someone is bold or crazy enough, they could always post proof of the compound.

Then again, I suppose it is just as well that that never happens since I wouldn't want to feel responsible for someone losing such a valuable asset.
