Recently me and my fren keep compounding EQ's

example :

invisible knife
steel thorn bracers

and others~

on da official forum or even de compounding site
written its needed a Alchemy book 1 to compound steel thorn bracers

sea armour + demon gloves + copper crest + alchemy book 1

but i've compound it without a alchemy book 1

and i stil can get de EQ that i wanted~

so i think its isn't a MUST to use a alchemy book to compound even
de forum or site written that de compounding requires a book ?

sometimes its a must, sometimes it uses different book..

there are many equipments that dont have formula yet in the database, and pbwiki sometimes have different formula..

such as me, sometimes i make my own formula to see if its gonna work XD

you should read some more about compounding from here or from wonderland forum.

like in basic alchemy

primary/junior/superior can increase 4 ranks of item compounded rank (5 for superior tho its rare), so anything with

primary+4
junior+4
superior+4

doesnt need alch book, but its just make it easier if book is included...for items with high lvl~

oh i see ..

den we shouldn't waste anymore golds to buy alchemy books .. =)

yup, but its pretty hard to get +4 since its not too often, especially when there are many equip with same base and within the range of alch skills..

with items that can be compounded using items that sold from npc, its better not using books (sometimes)

i dink its should be better to js buy de eq from venders

rather than failed compound and waste yr $$~

If you get a +7 compound, there had to be an alchemy book involved. Even superior only give +5 without one, Junior and Primary give +4. That's set in stone without alchemy books.

The reason why alchemy books are worth having is when you're making higher level equipment. They can actually save you a lot of money. And some compounds a book is needed for, some compounds just use it to increase the chances of success.

most equips sold by other player = x2 or even more of the real price (well thats cause including the failure chance)

some items might be cheap, might be even only few hundred gold away, but for higher lvl equips......i rather make it myself~

600k ? for what lvl items ?

the highest lvl items i see for now is crosspike, which i would try to make..

seen it in Libra server cost about 1.5mill

reasonable ? not really...if i'm lucky, prolly i could make it under 200k

now, see the price difference...even if i failed (tho i dont think i would fail that much seeing the material needed) the cost prolly only will bulked up till 800k (with lots of junk i could sell)

still far lower than other people vendors..
