Basically the Compound section works like this:
1st The question mark means that the compound has not been verified so therefore may not be correct.
The check mark means that the compound has been verified as a working compound.
2nd p = primary j = junior s = superior and N/A = not applicable(I guess)no alchemy skill(according to FencingFoxFTW)(thnx)
3rd The number is the rank jump or drop that the compound has if it succeeds. Even verified compounds do not alway succeed.
4th That is the item you are trying to compound.
5th Those are the items you use in the compounding in the order that they must go into the compounding slots.
