Hey There,

Awesome site. I've been trying to look for the large, in-game pictures of the Tools and Furniture. Is there any way you guys could help me out with that? (Maybe point me in the right direction or something?)

Thanks,

Karl Gruehn

ok, i'll show you how i got all my icons. Download this file http://wlodb.com/files/get_bmp.exe

run this executable on the .BMg files in the wonderland directory. it will extract all the images. i'm not sure which one has the large furniture images, but i have seen them before.

syntax:

get_bmp.exe filename.BMg

I'm sorry, I'm not sure I understand. Is the "Wonderland Directory" the website? Or the actual game itself?

Also, whenever I try and download said file, it doesn't seem to save it anywhere.

the download works for me, try right clicking the link and click Save As. the program is basically a tool to extract images from the wonderland online directory (c:\program files\wonderland online")

Hey, it's me again:

"run this executable on the .BMg files in the wonderland directory"

I'm sorry, but my knowledge of this stuff is next to nill. : /

I run the executable (simply by double clicking it in the downloads section), and it shows a black screen with "File Name:"

Now what?

copy the executable to your wonderland pic directory...i'm guessing it's probably at c:\program files\Wonderland Online\pic\

open a command prompt by:

click on start->run
type 'cmd' in the box and hit enter

in the black box type:
cd \
cd c:\program files\Wonderland Online\pic\
get_bmp.exe images1.BMg

then it will dump all the images from that BMg in the directory you are in.

I downloaded the game itself. But when I clicked on the setup icon, it practically froze up my computer.

Is there some way you could just drag all of the unfettered images to a disk?

I'd be more than willing to shell out some money for it. : /

let me know what happens after each step in the commands i posted before this. i'm not sure what you mean about the setup icon and your computer icon. which setup icon are you referring to? and didn't you already have wonderland installed?

To be honest, I'm not really so much interested in the game as the art that it has. (In fact, I'm kind of scared of screwing up my computer with it.)

Anyways, I Downloaded it. And the only place it appeared was in the Downloads Popup window.

So I click on that, and wait while it sets up (takes about 45 minutes).

I had to turn the computer off, so when it showed me the option of "running the program," I had to decline.

After getting back on, the Wonderland Icon Shows up on my desktop, only instead of saying "Wonderland Online" it says "Setup" and that's when I clicked the setup icon, and that's when the computer froze up.

so are you saying you can't install the game? the get_bmp.exe program can only extract the images if you have the game installed.

May I ask why you're only interested in the art of the game? Just out of curiosity?

Oh, and BTW the installing of the game takes quite some time, because about 2 GB worth of files has to be installed. including all the pictures. After installation you need to run an update to be sure you've got all the latest version working.

edit to add:
Well, I've tried the first file (images1.BMg) and it gave me more then 4000 bmp pics. Do I need to run all the files in the pic directory? Including the BLS files, etc? Or was running this first file enough?

Thanks for the help!

Whenever I try and click on the install button, nothing happens. So yes, that seems to be the case : /

...there's got to be some way I can get these...

Oh, and to Chocolatery: Because it looks cool.

I totally agree with you about the art being cool :)

It's weird that the installation doesn't work. How big is your installation file? It should be about 700MB big. If it's not, download it again. Maybe something went wrong with the download.

Also, make sure you have the set up file and not the patch file. The patch file won't work if you haven't installed the program first. The patch might be only a few MB's big and will have patch in the name.

I hope for you that you'll be able to install it. And if you do, give it a try in playing it. It's even more wonderful than you already think :)
