what i mean..does rank matters?if you compound rank10 and above materials..are you going to get higher proficiency?

what I have heard is the rank of the items you compound does not matter, only the number of times of sucessful compound. So compounding 2 gold ores together gives no more profiency than compounding 2 common stone together, provided that they both succeed. Do you understand?

So the best way to lvl up alchemy is while lvling, you will get lots of drops from monsters, compound them together one by one, and see what you get. If you train at cirrus, you will get lots of vine grass and turpentine. Recycle the vine grass, and you are likely to get straw mushroom, then compound straw mushroom with turpentine to get tomato juice!!! Sp +150!!!

Actually, I thought the lvl of your alchemy does not really BAN you from compounding anything, only affects the chance of failing and getting high lvl things, so the higher the alchemy lvl, the less chance of failing and getting good things. However, provided with enough luck, you should be still be able to get high lvl items, even if you have alchemy lvl 1!!!

Well u can always do what i do.. u buy in 50 lauan logs fo like 1k.. make lauan wood out of them ( 100 ) and make small wooden gears out of the wood.. that makes 300 wooden gears.. compound those 1 by 1 adn up goes ur alchemy lv, it works for me tho ;)
