hello readers, i've found some players making difference about bursting and buffing lemme explain what i understand about it, ok

BURSTING- USING BUFF AND DEBUFF before killing a monster to got tons of exp

BUFFING- USING AN SPELL THAT STRENGTEN YOUR PET OR YOUR OWN CHARACTER

DEBUFFING- USING AN SPELL THAT PROHIBITS AND WEAKEN ENEMIES

MINI BURSTING- A KIND OF BURSTING

well lemme explain for what that man said

MAN: MINI BURST IS CALLED BUFFING YOU STUPID

and then what you called the thing NORMAL BURSTING? huh? you should look your words before hitting me that im stupid. u use BUFFING AND DEBUFFING ON NORMAL BURSTING don't say you don't use Slowdown, Poison Spell, Hot Fire, And your attacks? (if your fire)

for exaples
SLOWDOWN (DEBUFF)- it is debuff because u r SLOWING your enemy's speed
POISON SPELL (DEBUFF)- it is debuff because u r POISONING your enemy
HOT FIRE (BUFF)- you are raising your ATK or MATK for 2 turns
this is the normal burst debuffs and buffs

mini burst for fire
SLOWDOWN 1st turn

if u called BURST AS BUFFING IT SHOULD BE ALL BUFFS NOT DEBUFFS
AND ONE TOO, if u call it buffing, so your casting ur debuffs on your self?
lol, bursting is just an term of buffing and debuffing for a 4 or howmany rounds to get a tons of exp. so USE COMMON SENSE

lol and if u r reading my post.

"THE ONE WHO SAYS DUMB TO AN NICE PERSON, HE/SHE LOOK HIS OR HER SELF FIRST"

it is annoying to have an arguement on that kind of person, i should ignore that kind of arguement, but i can't coz he is insulting me AND I HATE THAT.
now im turned off because of that person. the reputation to all players got down by 1. thanks

I think buffing is a vague term but it generally covers the idea...

If you debuff an enemy you are technically buffing yourself by making the enemy weaker. Is not lowering the enemy's defense to do more damage similar to increasing your own power to deal more damage? The only real difference is whether the target of the spell happens to be friend or foe.

Hate to be the bad guy but there is a big difference between a buff and debuff.

A debuff is effected by your enemies resistances. Therefore a fire debuff against a water would not be as effective as a fire debuff against a wind.

Whereas a buff will always be equally effective because there is no resistance to positive spells. Therefore a water casting Water Shield on a fire will be equally effective as a Water casting Water Shield on an Earth.
