"You may dream Mashiro na, koi wa tsubasa ni naru... kanao you ni... yokogao tokimeki ga odorihajimeru" I don't know the whole song for Kare Kano's opening, sorry.

"Cha-la-la... head cha la" by Dragon Ball Z was also pretty good ^_^ I like the Bleach opening because it shows Rukia, one of my favorite anime characters ever ^_^ "Saiken boku wa nani o soru koto ni mo, aitsu no kao ga detekuru. Nijyuu yojikan to iu gisshiri no jikan mo, aitsu ga shimete shimata. Saa Shigoto o hajimeyou..."

from Supergals is also a good song. As you can tell the Kare Kano and Supergals are about relationships. As you can tell from the opening lyrics alone Japan has far better cartoons than America on the basis of more depth and better plot lines. There is a real depth of plot in these stories, whereas in America cartoons are simply disgusting and for shock value (although I'll confess that the Southpark scene where Stan ask Jimmy to tell Wendy she's a continuing source of inspiration. But because of his speech impediment he said: "Your a cont... cont... cont... and she thought he meant... well... replace the vowel in "cont..." with another vowel that becomes a very nasty swearword. I laughed so much then. Most of Southpark though is gross.)
