Im in scorpio and i just attempted to do fred's quest a few days after 4.0 was released. I did all the quest need, and now i'm stuck on the maya part (Dark Niss). I had niss with me and 2 beads in my inv, but when i went up to the door on the pryimid, all i get is the loading mushroom but i could't go in (also i could still move). I also talked to the boy about the room. I have followed many guides like this one:

None of these guides helped us get in. Tryed asking a friend that has Fred, he didnt know what was wrong.

I also talked to IGG about it and they said nothing is wrong. My friend and I both have the same problem so i know im not the only one having this problem. We spent 3 hours trying to figure it (going from guide to guide and talking to everyone *NPC*).

Does anyone have a clue what is wrong? Is it something we are doing wrong? Or is IGG lying to us?

have you tried to talk to the boy in front of the pyramid? you need to talk to him...

i had sometimes the sameproblem...try to go into your tent when you on the pyramid...or try to use a "smaller" flying vehicle.... plane and ufo work....landing craft does not....i dont know why :/ just try it :)

I have talked to the boy many times and pked him about 7 times.

I'll test out the "smaller" Flying cehicle, but i don't think thats the problem becuase you can stand on the area.

I have gone into my tent many times and even emptied my Inv with just what i need in it.
