My water has a lvl 14 xao and she can only wall once because of her sp (im not rich enough to get any of the posh sp item stuff) is it still possible to burst her? I've read other guides that i found on this forum and it said that she gets more exp for every cow that she walls. ive tried doing a small burst
with the erem setting to stone wall when <1000 hp (the hp setting cud be a total discussion on its own, but from the forums ive read im still confused XD), but she just done basic attacks and walled nothing._.

any help?

You can get some items like Rainy Doll, cat's eye ring to boost your sp a little. If you really can't buy any special SP scrolls I recommend just going slowly and wait until she's high enough level where she has enough sp to wall up to 3 cows.
As for the basic attack instead of walling problem:
Your remote should have her only defend/shield as a first and second priority along with the other 3 turns. As for the wall, keep it there and make sure the amount of hp to wall at is less than that of your water or characters that are not attacking.

I had an sp item from long ago so i was lucky enough to cuss my Xaolan until 100. I'll try to find out if there are sp scrolls or armlets that she can get normally. I'm pretty sure there has to be one...(EDITED)

Well...the only scrolls that you can get through quests are hp ones so I would just try to get sp eqs if I were you. Here are some of them:

Rainy Doll = +50sp (HEAD) lv: 52
Crystal Earrings = +50sp (SPECIAL) lv: 54
Light Blue Boots = +100sp (SHOES) lv: 74
Spirit Medal = +90sp (SPECIAL) lv: 78
Black Crystal Ring = +30sp (SPECIAL) lv: 14
Star Cap = +20sp (HEAD) lv: 40
Gold Staff = +90sp (WEAPON) lv: 58

You can simply just get a good compounder to make some of the lower level ones. If you have the money, you can buy these from someone else. I would definitely try to get the light blue boots for when you really want the most sp gain. Combine that with crystal earrings, rainy doll and gold staff and you got +290 sp. I wouldn't try to get spirit medal if I were you, its too hard to waste the time and resources to go for. Hope this helps!

Although I haven't tried it, I think its possible if you can make your water slower than xao. Just cast magic recovery every turn after she uses stone wall

thanks everyone! ill definitely try those ideas ^^ (and since my xao builds agi<--not high enough lvl to scroll her out it might be easy to try to lower my waters spd) and the items look like a good idea too :D

building spd on xaolan ain't so bad, I have my xaolan as CON>AGI>WIS. I don't add any int because I don't really need her to do damage. I don't care about her being sealed either but just in case, I have a magic set on her. Hope you burst well with xaolan, good luck!
