I was planning to add some IM items to my gear, but it seems that most of the IM items cannot be forged / upgraded and only avaialble to upgrade with SS.

about the cape, since i am use a wing, do you think the wing is better at max upgrade or the cape?

wing cannot put spars in it so is the cape better? but then i wont be using any magical sets items so the double socket wont applied to cape.

ONLY grocery gear (like snow ears, gold loops, gold rings, tutu, Christmas set, kimono, white day sets etc...) and compounded items can be forged with furnace or forging scrolls, they can also be spared.

anything that comes in a box NEEDS Strong Scrolls.. sadly =(

Cape can be forged and spared. I think its best to but 50+ or higher in cape because if you wear a set and the cap then the cape can double do 50 become 100. (only if you are killer using killer set, wit using with set and so on)

Even without the sets you at least still have a good spar.

What stat does your cape have? Is it better than the wings or are the wings you have better than the cape? If the current wings are better then you should keep using it.
I myself have a +80 cape and I never use it, I was even given a +48 spar as a birthday gift from a friend before to use on it. since I never use the cape it was a waste to use the spar (with the spar it would have been +128 INT cape, +176 INT with wit set). But because I'm a wind I always use a speed ring 100% AGI or Clive's necklace 75% AGI.
My mage knight as well. He early RB'd at 140 and has a +13 SPD cape. Instead I use the Evil Necklace +45 INT or the Resistent Necklace +40 SPD on him since I get better stats from the necklaces than his cape.

So see what gives you the best stats for what you need and use that. =3 sometimes its good to make some sacrifices.

see if they are better than your cape. If you RB'd at 180 or higher then the Cape will always be better than the wings, sorry. unless you have the SPD wings or until the game update and add more lvls.
Truthfully I say stick with the cape, at least its free. where as the SS uses a pyramid scheme to advance and that's never good unless you are one who's rich and don't care about money.

If you like the wings more and use it for "look" then keep it. maybe have both in your item bag and switch back and forth when questing or sitting around sb.

(off topic; I wish it was possible to wear 5 specials like in Norn Saber/Angelic Crest game by same creator. Wish one day WLO updates and has some of the same features)
